We are incredibly proud of our talented team at UM who collaborated with Mediabrands Content Studio this year on an exceptional project. This initiative saw over 3,000 aspiring artists submit their music to our panel, with six selected to work closely with industry professionals in curated workshops over a number of weeks. These artists then had the opportunity to perform at The Dome in Tufnell Park, a legendary live music venue we helped refurbish with the help of Willmott Dixon, bringing them back onto the promoter map. The project also gave them the incredible opportunity to take the stage at BST and APE festivals, creating meaningful connections between a brand, culture, and community. We’re excited to share that a documentary about this inspiring journey will soon be available on Prime Video! Last week, our team had an amazing time at the premiere, celebrating this achievement. We're pleased to share that Money Talks has won at the Newsworks Awards in the Best Social Impact Campaign category! 🎉 This recognition celebrates our collaborative work with MoneySuperMatket, part of MONY Group plc, Campaign Against Living Miserably, and Dynata, tackling the profound link between the cost-of-living crisis in the UK and its impact on mental health. The project uncovered striking insights, such as 42% of UK adults feeling stressed about domestic bills and 74% welcoming financial advice from brands, highlighting how financial struggles can lead to isolation and a downward spiral in mental health. We are honoured that the judges described this campaign as "a fantastic bringing together of a business and a charity to drive the understanding and distribution of help and resources to people struggling with their mental health."
