Meet Julie Chase, who is featured in the December issue of the TMA JCR, "Women in Workouts." Chase's banking career started during the tough real estate downturn of the late 1980s in Phoenix, which taught her early on the speed at which things can go wrong. Flash forward a few decades to 2008, and Chase built a career in commercial banking for 22 years, engraining a love for the challenge and the creativity that came with finding solutions for troubled loans. She later found her place in special assets and after 16 years, she’s still driven by the challenge of making things work for everyone—and finds great satisfaction in helping borrowers get back on track.
