Tulsa Day Center

The Tulsa Day Center relies on end-of-year donations to sustain our shelter and services throughout the year. These donations make it possible for us to not only give people a safe space out of the elements, but they also allow us to work with each individual to identify the barriers keeping them from permanent housing. This may be as simple as a little help on a utility bill, or it may involve working through more complicated issues and life circumstances. While shelter is our first goal, housing is our ultimate goal, and your end-of-year gift makes a real difference with both. Take a closer look at Rapid Rehousing at the Tulsa Day Center in this video. 🏠 The Rapid Rehousing team works with partners including Tulsa Housing Authority and Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Inc. to identify clients and begin the case management process. Our Youth First program serves individuals between the ages of 18 to 24. ‼️ Exciting news ‼️ Our Rapid Rehousing team has accomplished a major milestone within the first year of our grant-funded Youth First Program. We have served 67 households and have 50 households currently housed. This surpasses the amount of clients that we aimed to house in less than one year of starting operations. 💫 This program serves homeless individuals between 18 to 24 years of age. Our team provides housing navigation, intensive housing stabilization and case management services. These services are designed to equip clients with skills and resources needed to sustain and thrive in housing. 🏘️ We are thrilled to see these results and proud of our clients' hard work!
