About us

Tory Burch is an American luxury lifestyle brand founded in New York in 2004. What began with a boutique in Manhattan and an e-commerce site has since grown into a global business with more than 370 stores across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Australia. In addition, the brand is available at more than 3,000 department and specialty stores worldwide. Tory’s design philosophy is defined by effortless silhouettes, innovative materials, eclectic juxtapositions of color, and the tension of past and present. Her collections include ready-to-wear, handbags, footwear, accessories, jewelry, home and beauty. Empowering women is Tory’s guiding principle, expressed through her collections and her work at the Tory Burch Foundation. Established in 2009, the Foundation provides women entrepreneurs in the United States with capital, education, and community. Every Tory Burch product supports the Foundation’s work to empower women. Through her unique hybrid model, Tory has created a paradigm for authentic brand purpose. Tory has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year, Harper’s Bazaar’s Designer of the Year, the Parsons School of Design’s Table Award, the Wharton School’s Jay H. Baker Retailing Center’s Retail Excellence Award, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award, Forbes’s Most Powerful Women in the World, and Glamour’s Women of the Year. Her first book, Tory Burch In Color (Abrams, 2014), was a New York Times Best Seller, and her designs have been featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

I vividly remember the day my mother rushed home to show me her first credit card printed with her name — not my father's.    It was 1974, shortly after the Equal Opportunity Act made it possible for women to apply for credit cards, loans, and mortgages in their own name. For more than a decade, banks typically required a male cosigner.    Overnight, a credit card became a symbol of women’s financial freedom. Today marks the 50th anniversary of the ECOA, a reminder to celebrate the progress women have made — especially as entrepreneurs — while recognizing the work we still need to do to advance women's equality. I was honored to write this op-ed for TIME's TIME100 Voices vertical, a big thanks to Lucy Feldman for the opportunity. xTory https://lnkd.in/e6cCZGyS

Our Animal House concept has been traveling the globe with the latest stop at Shibuya Parco in Tokyo. The pop-up features the work of German photographer Walter Schels, whose animal portraits appeared in Tory’s Resort 2024 collection and now in a limited-edition capsule collection available in Japan exclusively at Shibuya Parco and on a dedicated “Animal House” landing page at toryburch.jp. Tory discovered Schels’s work years ago and was immediately drawn to his animal portraits. “There’s a human element to Walter’s photographs, in the way he looks at the animals and they in turn look back,” she says. “He gives animals the same respect as humans, highlighting their unique personalities and emotions.”   #ToryBurch #ToryBurchAnimalHouse #WalterSchels

The front row at our Spring/Summer 2025 runway show had barely stepped out of their Tory Burch Pierced shoes last month when #TeamTory was flying back to Los Angeles for their next big moment: the pre-Emmy Awards annual luncheon, co-hosted that weekend with Glamour.   A squadron of Emmy nominees and past winners – Allison Janney, Quinta Brunson, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Awkwafina, Eve Hewson, Leslie Bibb, Louisa Jacobson and more – joined Glamour’s Editor-in-Chief Samantha Barry for the intimate event at Soho House Holloway, all outfitted in looks from the Tory Burch collection. It was the 10th gathering that Glamour and Tory Burch have co-hosted to bring stars and styles together for Emmy weekend.   “The PR & Events, Visual, Social and VIP teams are a can-do, will-do group. We came together to quickly turn this around to create a memorable afternoon and all the guests looked fabulous wearing our brand,” recalled Alison Lee Cerrilla, Director of VIP and Celebrity Relations.   “The week was so fast-paced,” added VIP Assistant Erin Gillman, who remained in New York, packing, shipping and then tracking pieces en route to LA. “A lot of cans of Celsius were cracked open.” #teamtory

Earlier this month members of our team joined Tory in Manhattan to participate in Fashion For Our Future, a non-partisan march designed to support democracy by encouraging voter registration and voting.   Organized by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue, the march kicked off New York Fashion Week in style and with substance. “We were excited to be part of this event. We invited everyone in our New York office and it was so meaningful to come together as a community in support of this important issue,” said Nacole Snoep VP, Public Relations. About 1000 designers, models, retailers, factory workers, editors and students converged on Herald Square outfitted in Fashion For Our Future t-shirts and dresses before marching as a group to Bryant Park, carrying placards, waving flags and chanting “V-O-T-E. VOTE!”   Tory has long been an advocate for voting, encouraging the team to register and offering paid-time off to volunteer at the polls as well as time off to vote. “Voting is an honor and a privilege. Democracy works best when everyone participates,” she said. #fashionforourfuture #teamtory
