I wanted to share a few photos from customers using our technology across Africa. It’s incredible to see how it’s helping farmers adapt, conserve water, and tackle everyday challenges in meaningful ways. The Osiris Project, led by TomorrowNow.org in collaboration with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, is at the forefront of this effort. With a bold mission to support 100 million climate-resilient farmers in Africa by 2030, TomorrowNow is combining breakthrough technology, strong partnerships, and impactful philanthropy to make a lasting difference. The change isn’t always dramatic – it’s the small, consistent steps that truly matter. Each successful harvest, each farmer equipped with better tools, and each challenge overcome are milestones on this journey. A big thank you to Philip Frost for sharing these wonderful photos. These stories inspire us every day, and we’re proud to contribute to a project that’s transforming lives and communities. 🌱

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Brian Miranda, and for leading our efforts to ensure that last mile weather services become useful to smallholder farmers! 100M smallholder farmers by 2030!Let's go! https://lnkd.in/dtKm6mcC #WhyWeatherMatters #GivingTuesday
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 7 years of farming experience as an agripreneur, it’s this: Knowing the weather matters! Early this year, I planted my tomato seedlings with hopes of a bumper harvest and high returns. I still remember the anticipation I had as the tomato fruits gradually formed, and I imagined the harvest that would follow. But then, weather had other plans. With all the agronomic knowledge I have, I was caught off guard and lost my entire crop of tomatoes by failing to plan my tomato blight control program well in advance before the rains came. For a smallholder farmer who’s farming to feed their family and educate the next generation, a similar experience like mine will simply rob them of their future - and that’s why our work at TomorrowNow.org is very important to ensure farmer prosperity and resilience in a changing climate. This #GivingTuesday, join us in building a brighter future for these farmers. Every donation helps scale next-gen weather solutions, ensuring farmers can plan better, grow more, and protect their income in the face of uncertainty. Together, we can harness innovation to create a resilient, food-secure Africa. Let’s make it happen! 🎯 Here’s how you can help: 1️⃣ Donate: https://lnkd.in/dXrPNze3 2️⃣ Share this post. 3️⃣ Spread the word about our mission. We’re already helping 5 million farmers, and with your support, we’re on a mission to empower 100 million by 2030. Let’s give farmers the tools they need to weather the storm and secure a brighter future. #ClimateResilience #WhyWeatherMatters Georgina Campbell Flatter Philip Frost Asiedua Amoah Boniface Akuku Kenneth Chepkwony Brian Miranda Betty King'ori Pevy Ouko

Recognising the Importance Resilience and the Power of Community on #GivingTuesday Over the years, I’ve been part of some incredible communities... Communities of people who care deeply about making a difference, leveraging technology, creating jobs, and driving impact at scale. They’ve taught me the value of coming together with purpose to tackle the world’s toughest challenges. Last week, I experienced this same spirit of community closer to home, in my local village in West Oxfordshire. Severe flooding brought neighbours together through the night—pulling leaves from drains, moving sandbags, and doing everything they could to protect homes and livelihoods. Just nearby, another village faced 2.2 meters of water. The stories of homes we couldn’t reach in time were heartbreaking, but many were saved. Teams worked tirelessly, united by a shared determination to weather the storm. What continues to stand out to me is the power of community—people showing up for one another in moments of need. This experience deeply resonates with the work we do at TomorrowNow.org. Every day, we focus on building resilience—not just reacting to climate events, but proactively preparing communities to adapt to a changing climate. This #GivingTuesday, I’m reaching out to my community here. Together, we can empower 100 million farmers by 2030 with next-generation weather services, helping them adapt, thrive, and weather their own storms. Resilience matters. Community matters. Your support matters. A single dollar can change the future for a farmer on the frontlines of climate change. Your support today means food security, resilience, and hope for millions tomorrow. 👉 Donate https://lnkd.in/eq5C6ETv or repost 🙏 and join us in creating a climate-resilient future for ALL. #GivingTuesday #Resilience #PowerOfCommunity #ClimateAdaptation #100MFarmersBy2030 Acumen Academy Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT Legatum MIT Technology and Policy Program International Space University Greentown Labs Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship Lightful SOCAP Global Tomorrow.io TomorrowNow.org
