Nordic Semiconductor just released a new series of integrated circuits which target Thread designs! With this, you can now start your nRF54L Series evaluation and development! See the post below for more information on the advantages of nRF54L15 over its predecessor (nRF52840) for #Matter over #Thread designs: https://lnkd.in/gqgQybdB
We are ecstatic to launch the nRF54L Series with not one but three wireless SoCs: nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05! With the nRF54L Series, we are taking our popular nRF52 Series to the next level. You can now start your nRF54L Series evaluation and development! The nRF54L15 DK is available from our distributors (you can emulate nRF54L10 and nRF54L05 SoCs with the same DK). The datasheet and other technical documentation are now publicly available, and we have added the nRF54L15 to our online power estimation tool for evaluation purposes, the Online Power Profiler on DevZone. On November 14, the nRF Connect SDK and our development tools will support the nRF54L Series. To quickly get started with the nRF54L Series, the Nordic Developer Academy courses nRF Connect SDK Fundamentals and Bluetooth Low Energy Fundamentals will support the nRF54L15 SoC and nRF54L15 DK. “The launch of the nRF54L Series is a proud moment for Nordic Semiconductor. [...] Expanding the product series with the nRF54L10 and nRF54L05, alongside the nRF54L15, allows us to support a wide range of Bluetooth LE and IoT applications with greater flexibility and exceptional energy efficiency.” Øyvind Strøm Get your nRF54L15 DK now to get started evaluating all three SoCs: https://hubs.li/Q02XR_rM0 If you are at electronicaFair this week, stop by our booth 439 in Hall B4 to learn more and see a comparison of the nRF54L Series vs nRF52 Series. #BluetoothLowEnergy #electronicaFair #Electronica2024 #nRF54LSeries #nRF54L #nRF54L15 #nRF54L10 #nRF54L05 Bluetooth SIG

Last week, the #ThreadGroup was proud to participate in the IETF 121 Dublin Hackathon. Thanks to Espressif Systems, NXP Semiconductors, Nordic Semiconductor, GL.iNet and Silicon Labs for providing expert guidance and dev kits for participants. To see what the group accomplished, check out our recap and additional information about the projects here. We were inspired by the enthusiasm from participants and look forward to engaging more with the university and hacker communities.
