About us
The current narrative is that for women over 50 - age diminishes us. We disagree. Not on our watch. We're creating a tribe, a global community. A tribe that is telling us that women want to own and be intentional about this vital chapter in our lives. We know that women over fifty have energy, experience, light and life. We love that there is so much positive profile about midlife and menopause. What about life beyond? Starting as a show, we believe it’s .... A movement. A cause. A mindset. A space. This Age brings content and insight, listening and reflecting what the tribe does, and what the tribe wants. Our intention is: - To rip up the rule book for women over fifty - To harness the vibrancy and vibe of the tribe - To inspire the next generation of women and men, while acknowledging those who have gone before.

Was it over dinner? Sitting on a beach? Over a Zoom meeting?…..… All we remember is that we knew it was an important time for women over 50. We were realising and experiencing that being 50, 60, 70, or 80 years old sure didn’t look like it did - even a generation ago. But frustratingly, age continues to be seen as diminishing women in this world. And we thought… not on our watch! With a few episodes under our belts, the This Age tribe asked: What about you two? Who are you? Why should we listen to you? Why should we, the Tribe, care? So, in an attempt to know us a bit better… we’ve answered a few questions to share our stance on a lot of the topics that we’ve asked our guests. Join us on this #TU10 episode for an inside look into why Julia Streets and Antoinette Raymond PhD created This Age - and what drives them to challenge themselves to do something new and different in their lives. https://lnkd.in/esxdn2ej #ThisAge #VibrancyoftheTribe #Womenover50 #Empowerment

Are you ready to unleash your creativity and tackle the day with confidence? It's time to embrace the power of warm-up exercises! In todays post, I'm sharing 3 simple yet effective exercises to get your creative juices flowing. 1. Mind Mapping: Start by jotting down your main idea in the center of a blank sheet of paper. Then, branch out with related concepts, ideas, and connections. This visual brainstorming technique can help you organize your thoughts and generate fresh insights. 2. Word Association: Set a timer for two minutes and choose a random word or topic related to your project. Write down as many words or phrases as you can think of that are associated with the topic. This exercise encourages lateral thinking and can lead to unexpected breakthroughs. 3. Doodle Break:Take a five-minute break to let your mind wander and doodle freely on a piece of paper. Allow your pen to flow without judgment and se where your imagination takes you. Doodling can help quiet the mind and spark creative inspiration. Stay tuned and check back in with me tomorrow for where I'll share 2 more strategies to fuel your creative fire. #Creativity #ProductivityHacks

Forty signatures were signed against Hy Money, the first female sports photographer, to join the National Union of Journalists - the sole reason was that she was (as they saw it!) a woman in a man's world. Hy has pure gumption and we are so thankful that it’s pioneers like Hy that’s paved the way for other women today. We hope this short clip from our latest episode of This Age inspires you, just like it did us. https://lnkd.in/eMk4AePG Haven’t yet watched the full episode with Hy Money?
