⭐ New York, New York! ⭐ We just wrapped up our third Annual Meeting of the Innovator Communities at the World Economic Forum’s New York office, welcoming over 80 Founders and CEOs! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible speakers: Lynn Martin, Anthony Scaramucci, Stephanie Ruhle, Nicholas Thompson, Michael Baum, Andreas Loy and Nacho De Marco. Your insights and energy made this event truly special. The conversations and ideas were thoughtful and inspiring and the sense of community stronger than ever. Here are just a few key takeaways: ✨ Preparation is everything. Whether it’s effective communication or planning an IPO, most of us underestimate the time and effort needed to truly succeed. ✨ Embrace your shame and failure – this can be a true superpower (and will also make you a better parent as a nice side effect) ✨ Most people undersell themselves – take time to connect what you are doing to society and planet overall (or define an “alternate future statement” as Michael Baum and Andreas Loy call it), this will lead you to a different but much stronger strategy ✨ Sharpen your focus. Ruthlessly prioritize by analyzing and stack-ranking tasks. Develop formulaic approaches for recurring challenges, and when you find unexpected free time, tackle the hardest, most important thing on your list. Most importantly, many thanks to my fantastic team Amara Amadiegwu Gaia Gera Michelle Mormont Saemoon Yoon for organizing this meeting!
