Please join us in welcoming Kaleena Barnes to the Response Group! Kaleena joins us after serving twenty years in the U.S. Coast Guard where she held the rank of Marine Science Technician Chief Petty Officer. Coming from the Leadership and Development Center, Chief Petty Officer Academy, Kaleena is a certified Maritime Port Executive, Instructor, and Contingency Preparedness Officer. She holds a Masters in Homeland Security and Emergency Management and is a recipient of the Coast Guard Alexander Hamilton Preparedness Award. Kaleena has over 15 years of Incident Command System classroom and field experience ranging from major Gulf of Mexico oil spill events to typhoons impacting Western Alaska. She holds over 20 certifications across ICS, safety, prevention, response, HAZMAT, radiation and explosives. We’re excited to have Kaleena onboard, and we look forward to her expertise and leadership as TRG’s new Alaska Regional Manager. #emergencymanagement #crisisresponse #trgresponseready
