𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝! When we opened up The Lekker Network founding memberships in early October, we had big dreams and ambitious goals. Today, I’m thrilled to share that we’ve achieved them all—and then some! 🎉 R3.5+ million in founding membership fees. 🤝 150+ incredible members have joined our community. 🌍 A thriving network of 60% international and 40% local members collaborating. What’s truly phenomenal is how quickly this has gone from an idea to a reality. Members from all corners of the globe are connecting, supporting one another, and even doing business together already. It's proof of the power of South Africans uniting to create something extraordinary. But the journey isn’t over yet! The Lekker Network founding membership drive will officially close on 30th November. We have about 20 seats still available, and they will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 🌟 Why join now? Founding members play a key role in shaping this network. You’ll have the chance to contribute your input, strategies, values, and ideas as we build The Lekker Network together. Instead of relying on a small group to define the future, we wanted this to be a collective effort—powered by amazing South Africans from around the world. From here, we will have a host of various focus and strategy sessions in the next few months to really unpack and start creating the foundation of the network. The ideas and strategies shared will act as the blueprint for the development team to use throughout the build. 🚀 The full launch happens in March 2025, when we’ll open up the network to the broader public. I recently saw someone describe The Lekker Network as looking like a male-dominated space. My initial thoughts? Join us and help change that! The Lekker Network is about bringing together South Africans who want to make an impact—regardless of gender. We’re proud of the diverse voices already within our network, including some incredible women leading in business, tech, and creative fields. But I know there’s room for more! Very PROUD to announce that I have become a founding member of The Lekker Network 🇿🇦 ❤️ Here's a little more context because you will see this name pop up a lot 🥰 The Lekker Network is a community for South Africans (Saffas) to connect, share opportunities, and do business together on a global scale. When Nic Latouf first shared the idea, I knew he was onto something. And then I caught up with Renier Lombard last week and I knew I had to be part of the mission. Ultimately, the crux of The Lekker Network is to create meaningful pathways for South Africans, wherever they are in the world. There are currently around 55 founding members located all over the globe and we're all tasked with helping shape an environment that promotes collaboration and growth. The Lekker Network is still in its infancy and there's a lot of work to be done, but I love getting involved early.
