My team is building, automating and scaling Map features for ADAS and HD Use Cases. Very interesting, challenging and sometimes hard problems to solve. It's not an exaggeration to say we're building the next gen map. Possibilities for a ton of impact. And we need more engineering leaders in Amsterdam & Madrid!! We need EMs who can scale our data pipelines! 👉🏼 Typically, as an EM you are able to coordinate the work with other teams and customers to prioritize the highest impact work for your team 👉🏼 Typically, Spark apps are written with python/Scala, build with dbx, and deployed on Spark & databricks clusters. 👉🏼 If you see yourself excited about leading a team that impacts multiple organisations. Great article from James Bedford highly recommend checking it out if you’ve not already seen it
One of the strongest things a leader (or anyone) can do is admit when they don't know the answer. This article is about my experience with impostor syndrome, anxiety at work and coming to grips with being ok with my own limitations and areas of growth. No one is perfect, no one has all the answers. Psychological safety for teams comes from the people at the top showing their vulnerabilities and not pretending to have it all figured out. It's ok not to know. ✌️ https://lnkd.in/ehyKcuJW
