The holiday spirit was in full swing as we joined forces with the Tyler Patrolman's Association Blue Santa Program to spread cheer and make the season brighter for families who need a helping hand. Blue Santa is a community outreach program that provides children in need with school supplies, winter coats, and a holiday shopping spree accompanied by an officer. The program fosters positive relationships between law enforcement and families across East Texas. From heartfelt moments to joyous smiles, it's a reminder that the holidays are about giving, connecting, and supporting our community. 🎅✨ Stockings, Smiles, and Santa Magic! What an incredible evening spreading holiday cheer with PATH (People Attempting To Help)! Rewind a few days back, and Genesis had a stocking stuffing party. Getting to personally hand them out alongside the big man in red was pretty great. 🎁 The warmth we felt reminded us why PATH’s work is so important. 🎅 This week, we had the joy of attending the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County Day Club Christmas party. The room was filled with festive cheer as Santa made a special appearance, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. As Santa’s helpers, we got to share in the holiday spirit. The Day Club provides cognitive and social stimulation for individuals in the early or mid stages of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, offering activities like fine arts, music, and chair exercises. Seeing the joy and warmth in the eyes of the participants reminded us of the true meaning of the season — community, compassion, and togetherness. A heartfelt thank you to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County for hosting such a meaningful event and for their unwavering commitment to supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s. We are thrilled to share some exciting news! Our very own Genesis eBONDS Sales Account Executive, Nick Moss, has been honored with the prestigious "2024 Citizen of the Year" award by the Whitehouse Area Chamber of Commerce! Those who know Nick can attest to how deserving he is of this recognition, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him as part of our team. This marks the third time in five years that a Genesis employee has received this distinguished award! Two of our favorite things: spreading Christmas cheer and celebrating babies! Today was a GREAT day at Genesis. We had the joy of caroling at Chick-fil-A on South Broadway in Tyler while ringing The Salvation Army kettle bell. Later, we shifted gears to celebrate something just as special—a baby shower for Genesis eBONDS Development Team Leader Jeffrey Parks, his wife Destiny, and sweet little Emma as they welcome baby Claire into the world! 🎁 Last night, we traded shopping lists for joy lists with Project Joy! This wonderful ministry spreads the love of Jesus by filling homes with food and hearts with happiness. Project Joy is an outreach ministry in Whitehouse, TX that helps families in need during the Christmas Season by providing food to the household and gifts for the children.
