I Partner With CEOs & CFOs To Deploy Top-Tier Interim Accounting and Finance Consultants Who Boost Profitability Via The Pinnacle Difference

What is a Fractional CFO? How do I work with a Fractional CFO? Who benefits most from a Fractional CFO? It feels like about every other day now I get messages from financial leaders asking me if I get requests from small companies looking for Fractional CFO help. It's a service that's been around for a long time but has become popular over the past couple of years due to its flexibility and cost savings. Essentially, a Fractional CFO is a CFO who serves multiple clients on a limited basis. They are typically brought in with a specific project in mind to help a small business hurdle. Companies that benefit most seem to be within the 3MM-50MM revenue range as they don't need all the services a full-time CFO would offer and don't want to shell out the 200K+ base salary for a full-time CFO. Fractional CFOs help with: - Cash flow analysis/stabilization - Raising capital- debt/equity - Strategic planning- forecasting for biz growth - Making strategic acquisitions and dispositions- due diligence - Establishing processes/procedures for the accounting/finance department A Fractional CFO will work with multiple clients and typically tackle one of the above projects with each of them. It could be one day a week at each company or 4 hours a day at each company, it's really up to the CFO and how they want to work. If they're an expert in one of the above areas, raising capital for example, they may be called in for just these types of projects. For small and growing companies this is an excellent way to get high-value added technical expertise into their business at a portion of the cost that it would take to have that person on payroll year-round. I know Tom Schultz and Michael King see a bright future for Fractional CFOs, have you ever thought about becoming one? #accountingandfinance #CFO #fractionalcfo #strategicfinance

Every high performing person I've ever met has been brave enough to say "I don't know but let me find out". No one knows everything. What sets successful people apart in finding success through ambiguity are these three things: 1) Knowing what you don't know 2) Taking the action needed to get the RIGHT answer (solution, contact, product, or service) 3) Being "helpable" along the way We've all worked with or encountered the person who doesn't know what they don't know. Isn't aware of their blind spot. We know that fact will stunt their growth until they address it. We've all seen people (and sometimes, let's admit it, have BEEN the person) who knew EXACTLY what needed to be done...but didn't do it. And then got exactly the results a lack of action deserves. And I can admit that accepting help can still - even to this day - sometimes make me feel weak or "less than". But I know accepting help or support from those who hold the knowledge, solution, experience...well, it's the difference between "getting by" and exponential growth. In all things. I might not know everything. But I know this ➡️ I am better for admitting and addressing my gaps, and letting people help me along the way. l hope this is helpful - if it is, please share ♻️ to help others. Join Wei-Li Chong and Lorna Hagen, Founders of WIN Consulting on Tuesday, August 13th at 12 p.m. EDT for an impactful online event! During "The Productivity Paradox: Why Your Efforts Aren’t Paying Off," you'll join top executives to redefine business success. DID YOU KNOW? For the past two decades, a whopping two-thirds of American workers are not engaged or actively disengaged at work. This number is even greater globally. Gallup estimates this challenge is costing the global economy US$8.9 trillion, or 9% of global GDP. How much is it costing your business? WHY IT MATTERS → Companies have invested in improving their work environment, but see little return on investment. → The post-COVID era has presented new challenges from hybrid working to declining well-being. → We’re also making sense of new technology such as Generative AI which will no doubt transform the landscape of how work gets done. While CEOs continually rank ‘Talent’ as a top three risk to achieving business goals, less than 10% of companies studied by McKinsey Global Institute are able to excel in both business performance and human capital metrics. Compared to companies who were only able to excel in one metric, these elite companies delivered greater profitability (9% greater economic profit and 28% greater return on invested capital), and were also 4.3x more likely than the average company to maintain top tier financial performance for 9 out of 10 years. The research shows companies who solve this challenge will have a significant competitive advantage in business growth, profitability, and attracting/retaining the best talent. REDEFINE YOUR APPROACH TO PRODUCTIVITY Companies tend to manage business performance and employee engagement separately, as if they were mutually exclusive. To do both effectively, we believe companies need to take a modern approach to business processes and managing productivity. WIN Consulting invites you to an exciting virtual event to set your company up for sustainable success. In this one-hour session, we will: → Review common mistakes that have a negative impact on productivity. → Show you how to measure how much productivity you’re currently leaving on the table as a way to set a target for improvement. → Provide a new approach to managing business performance and company culture together, enabling greater focus to improve employee productivity. → Answer questions you have about the key challenges related to your business and work environment. WHO WILL BENEFIT This webinar is designed for business leaders of mid-size companies. Whether you are the P&L owner, COO, a Finance or HR leader, you will gain insights to challenge your status quo and create a path to improving productivity and profitability. Register now to secure your spot in this game-changing event, and transform the way you lead your business! #productivity #employeeengagement #engagement #leadership #financialgoals #hybridwork #remotework #WINConsulting

  • A great article on fractional leadership and how it is benefiting businesses both small and large.

The concept of Fractional Leadership is gaining significant traction in the business world. A recent Harvard Business Review article explored pertinent questions regarding the viability of senior executives occupying part-time roles across multiple organizations, and whether companies should reconsider their senior talent acquisition strategies in response to technological advancements and evolving lifestyle preferences. Several members of the Fractional Leadership community contributed their expertise to address these questions, highlighting the growing momentum of the Fractional movement. Among the contributors was Karina Mikhli, founder of the Fractionals United community. Her insightful perspective was featured in the article: "Being fractional isn’t about a specific scope or project. It’s about playing a key role in the leadership team and being included in the organization chart." To read the entire article- https://lnkd.in/dR3c2ZKP
