  • How are IT organizations building future-ready teams? The fact remains: IT leaders face the challenge of equipping their teams with the right skills to stay ahead. CIO presented four strategies to build a team equipped with emerging skills: 1. Develop Talent from Within Encourage continuous learning and experimentation. Companies like Pariveda and Neudesic push employees to stay updated with emerging trends and share valuable insights with the team. Investing in internal training programs and leadership coaching can help cultivate a strong bench of future leaders. 2. Adopt Innovative Hiring Methods Consider relationship-based hiring and referral programs to find adaptable, high-potential talent. Flexibility in hiring requirements can also help identify promising candidates who are eager to learn and grow. 3. Enhance Employee Retention Competitive salaries are essential, but so are career growth opportunities, remote work options, work-life balance, and recognition programs. Companies like Neudesic offer innovation days, quarterly feedback, and mental health initiatives to keep employees engaged and motivated. 4. Build a Strong Employer Brand Boost your company's reputation as a great place to work by showcasing your commitment to social, environmental, and economic benefits. Participate in global conferences, publish industry articles, and ensure transparency in pay and promotion processes to attract and retain top talent. By focusing on these strategies, IT leaders can build resilient teams that thrive in the face of rapid technological advancements. #TechTrends #FutureOfWork #Leadership https://lnkd.in/ggbkbVbV
