The Firm was founded on February 1, 1994, and currently consists of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff from various educational institutions from around the world. Each year in June, the Firm closes for two days to provide the volunteers necessary for The Banks Foundation’s Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, the proceeds from which provide down payment assistance for first time homebuyers who have matriculated from public assistance to private homeownership, and we make it a point to stay current with proposed legislative and regulatory changes that may impact our clients.

Big change for medical marijuana cardholders in Georgia! The Georgia Department of Public Health announced that medical cannabis cards will now be valid for FIVE years instead of just two! This change allows patients to obtain low-THC oil and order through a new online portal, with the card shipped directly to their door. However, the price has increased slightly to $30 for five years (up from $25). Eligible conditions include cancer, AIDS, Alzheimer’s, chronic pain, and more.
