    😍 I just need to give a shout out to an incredibly helpful tool - TextExpander. (and no, this is not an add, this is just a happy customer giving praise to a great company) If you're in a job that requires you to communicate messages that are often the same over and over, this helpful tool is a MUST HAVE. I cannot tell you how much time I save DAILY by using it... well no, actually, I can... cause they track it for me. In two months, I have saved almost a full weeks worth of typing texts. 30+ hours total saved. Now I know, sure, I could have "copied and pasted" from a list of templates that I saved on a word doc, somewhere in a folder... and even with that archaic process, I still would not have saved as much time (or potential frustration) as I have with TextExpander. Don't even get me started on their fast and friendly customer service!     5 Tips to Manage Your Inbox Like a Pro Feeling overwhelmed by your inbox? You’re not alone. Managing emails efficiently is one of the most common struggles for business owners. Here’s how I help my clients stay on top of their inbox without the stress: 1️⃣ Create Folders and Filters Sort emails automatically into folders like “Invoices,” “Clients,” or “Newsletters” by setting up filters. This keeps your main inbox clear and helps you find important emails quickly. 2️⃣ Set Time Blocks for Emails Avoid the trap of checking your inbox every five minutes. Instead, schedule specific times during the day to review and respond to emails. Even better - set expectations by stating this in an auto-reply. For example: "Thanks for your email! I check my inbox at [times] each day. If your email is urgent, please [insert next steps, e.g., call this number]." I learnt this tip from Tim Ferriss’s The 4-Hour Workweek - saves you time and sets boundaries for better productivity. 3️⃣ Unsubscribe Ruthlessly Cluttered inbox? Use tools like Unroll.Me to unsubscribe from newsletters you don’t read. You’ll thank yourself later. 4️⃣ Use Templates and Auto-Expanders for Common Replies Save time by creating templates for frequently asked questions or common replies. Tools like TextExpander allow you to set up shortcuts for these templates—just type a few characters, and the full response appears like magic! For example, typing “/thanks” could expand to: "Thank you for your email! I’ll get back to you shortly." It’s a game-changer for efficiency. 5️⃣ Flag, Action, or Archive Inspired by the productivity book Get Sht Done*, this method helps you avoid email overwhelm by taking action on every message as it comes in: - Flag it if it needs a follow-up or more time to complete. - Action it immediately if it’s quick to resolve (under 2 minutes). - Archive it if it’s read and requires no further action.
