It’s that time of year again. When stockings are hung, dreidels spun, candles arrayed and carols sung. As our thanks to you for your continued support of Tether, the elves in Stanley’s workshop — with inspiration from our studio’s rubber band-ball mascot, Jerry — have been busy putting together our 2nd Annual Holiday Playlist. To keep the nights not-so-silent, we’ve curated a collection of not-so-well-known favorite songs to carry you through the season. So put it on, turn it up, unwind and roll on. Happy holidays from all of us at Tether. Listen now here: https://lnkd.in/guV8EHGk

About us
Tether is a multidiscipline brand design agency with deep experience in Beauty & Wellness, CPG, Sport and Tech. We help clients, from startups to established brands, build an emotional connection to their audiences through creative strategy, naming, identity, brand story and guidelines, package and industrial design, digital, social and campaigns. We craft love affairs between brands and individuals. We start at the genuine heart of the brand, creating compelling narratives that reach consumers at every relevant touchpoint with an approach that elevates story over style. Because love between a person and a brand doesn’t just happen. It has to be nurtured. From the inside out. Through stories that make us feel. Because, in the end, we are the stories we tell. Tether partners with clients ranging from start-ups to multi-national brands. Founded in 2008, Tether is independently owned and headquartered in Seattle.

Welcome to our new Tether studio. In our 16 years we’ve been in 2 places (well, 3 really but we didn’t care for one place so we will discretely ignore it) that have been, well, like a member of the Tether team. We’ve now chosen a new Tether space as carefully as if it were an employee. It's just right for who we are right now in our continued evolution. We are breaking it in still and putting those just-right touches on the walls (most importantly our stunning client work). We can’t wait for the future. You can always reach us @ [email protected] #WeAreTether #DesignAgency #NewStudio

Great stories are the foundation of great brands. And a compelling founder’s story can be a key chapter in your brand’s narrative, helping pique interest, boost credibility and build affinity. Our latest blog post digs into the hows and whys of a good founder’s story, including specific examples of work we’ve done for TATCHA and Beekman 1802. The “Beekman Boys” built a brand that charmed a legion of fans, but like any good farmers, they kept an eye on the future. With a shift in business focus on the horizon, the founders looked for a way to step back while the brand carried on with its spirit intact. And that’s when we got an invitation to the farm. Meet the Boys, the goats, and the whole gang of neighbors here > https://lnkd.in/gzgM3RaR We’re so grateful to the whole Beekman community for trusting us with this charming and inspiring story. Thank you! And a tip of the hat to the Tetherites who put in the hard work: Steve Barrett, Ally Sacks, and Bo Gilliland. #Branding #Design #Packaging #Strategy #Skincare

We're excited to see Tether’s recent branding work for Talking Rain Beverage Co®, makers of Sparkling Ice in the wild! This was a fun creative and strategic challenge: positioning, naming, designing and developing packaging for a new prebiotic soda, Popwell, that will make a splash in the crowded functional beverage category. We’ve birthed and reimagined many beverage brands over the years. If you have a creative conundrum, we’d love to meet you. #Branding #Design #Packaging #BeverageIndustry

Choosing pro bono projects is hard. So many good causes, not enough time. But, for Breedlove Entrepreneur Center, it was easy. We jumped at the chance to work with them in reimagining their brand, which was developed to empower Black women business owners, level up the communities they serve and create a more equitable tomorrow. Read more about the process here: https://lnkd.in/gWF-zu8i We’re so deeply appreciative to the Breedlove team at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago for letting us help your mission. While we’re at it, three cheers for the Tether team who pitched in: Bronson Folz-Edwards, Kat Rooney, Libby (Snow) Chessin, and Neil Webster. #Branding #Design #Diversity

Biocidin Botanicals was in the process of repositioning themselves to stand out in an increasingly crowded category and came to us to elevate their visual identity to match their refreshed brand language. Getting there took big thinking — on a very small scale. Get the whole story and see the work here: https://lnkd.in/gyJdvpGZ Thank you to the Biocidin Botanicals team for bringing us in for this compelling project. And kudos to the Tether team for their constant creativity and close attention to detail: Björn Soneson, Kat Rooney, Danielle Buffa and David Kaing. #Branding #Design #Packaging #Strategy

To help build excitement for their customizable Gx system, Gatorade brought us in to collaborate with a roster of global stars and create a series of powerfully graphic bottles and packaging. We sat across the table from each athlete, co-creating every aspect, until every bottle captured their story. It’s definitely worth checking out > https://lnkd.in/guiQjhQ8 Much thanks to the Gatorade team — this opportunity was so much fun. And we can’t forget the athletes themselves: DK Metcalf, J.J. Watt, Christian Pulisic, Lionel Messi, Jayson Tatum, Candace Parker and Bryce Harper. Our Tether MVPs on this one: Bronson Folz-Edwards, Björn Soneson, Tina Ou, James Lafuente, Jordan Eng, Jake Anderson and Daniel Petrzelka. #Branding #Design #ProductDesign PepsiCo
