We encourage practices that promote healing, empowering people to play a greater role in the care of their family, friends and community members who are dying or who have died. We don’t take shortcuts and always put people and relationships first. We are creating significant and positive social change in communities - whether we are offering funerals, education, community activities, or advocacy - every site is making a difference in their own community. Although the challenges we face continue to be significant in financially tough times, we are humbled by the overwhelmingly positive response from community members and people who have had funerals with us, and we are inspired and committed to continue to bring more people access to affordable and meaningful funerals in Australia. Be like Carol. The WA Cemeteries Act and Cremation Act are under review and you can have your say as part of the public consultation process. If you don't want to write a full submission, there is a survey option. Feedback will inform potential reforms to strengthen oversight of the funeral industry and reflect contemporary needs and expectations of community and industry.
Crafting a submission to address the key issues raised in the Review of the Cemeteries Act 1986 & Cremation Act 1929 discussion paper. As a Funeral Celebrant of 30 years there is much room for the Act to reflect evolving community needs.

We are so excited to announce this amazing news for Tender Funerals CANBERRA - we have a site! It's been many years in the making, but with the incredible support of @TheSnowFoundation and Capital Airport Group, it's finally happening and the fit-out is underway. We look forward to welcoming you all to our new home at 49 Laverton Ave, Fairbairn. We will be available for funerals from August 2024. In the meantime, we look forward to supporting our region with advice, community events like our Tender Talks and the provision of cardboard coffins.
