A recent Cloud Alliances ISV client had zero momentum in co-sell. Here’s how an Account-based co-sell strategy turned that all around in 30 days: 1. Identified their use case most aligned with the Cloud Alliance's top priority workloads 2. Partner-ized their top 5 most used customer assets for that solution area 3. Identified 50 accounts in the target solution area using HG Cloud Dynamics (Intricately) and direct sales rep suggested accounts 4. Scaled the content with 1:1 personalization to each of the target accounts 5. Used the personalized content for 1:1 intros + sales enablement with their own sales reps to gather support for outbound prospecting leveraging the partnership angle and materials 6. Engaged Cloud partner sales reps (again with 1:1 content) once they had sales traction to expand and accelerate conversations 7. Now, repeating the process by asking the Cloud partner reps for their target accounts to add to the 1:1 outbound––now coming from both sides If you’re just joining a program or need to revive co-selling efforts, this 1:1 #accountbasedsales approach helps get the flywheel of a virtuous cycle going starting slowly at first, then ramping up.
