One of the beauties of being a member of research collaboratories is meeting people like Taylor Shead of Stemuli . Taylor is an incredible woman who is also passionate about making a difference in education - and, she is also a delight to be around. We at Carnegie Learning are very to work for a company that prioritizes research and what works. We are also lucky to collaborate in many groups with people like Taylor! And she was one of over 200 brilliant education researchers, providers and district partners there collaborating this week! Building the #futureofwork, one student at a time. 🚀📚 At Dallas ISD’s 2024 Career Exploration Expo, learners engaged with Stemuli’s immersive experience and shared their ideas on how we can make career readiness even more exciting and impactful. Here is what they said:

💡 Exciting news from one of our AI super-builders, James Dominguez! Late last night, James shared that we’ve reached a major milestone: laying a key foundation for the use of AI to transform educational content into immersive video game experiences. 🚀 From James: 🎉 Major Content Processing Milestone! We’ve just completed our first large-scale deployment of the Interactors pattern, letting our LLMs stretch their legs with room to think deeply. The results are exciting: 📚 The Big Picture: - Two full semesters of mathematics content transformed - Every educational PDF and lesson now has its corresponding “base text” - Clean, distilled representations ready for personality injection 🎯 What We’ve Achieved: We’ve successfully transformed complex & redundant educational content into its purest textual form, creating a clean foundation for everything that follows. 🤖 Next Phase: All this pristine base text is ready for the next step - each piece will be flavoured by our NPC Robot personalities, bringing unique character and engagement to each interaction. This represents a significant step forward in our content automation pipeline! 🌱

One of our proudest breakthroughs came through the story of Mohammed—a young student raised by a single father, dreaming of becoming a Cisco engineer. Through Stemuli, he earned his certification in high school, and by graduation, he was making $90,000—surpassing his father’s income by miles. 📈 AI has the potential to do what textbooks simply can’t. It can be culturally responsive, meeting students where they are, no matter their background. Today, AI allows us to build immersive, life-changing educational experiences in weeks, not years, and for a fraction of the cost. I believe AI, XR, and VR aren’t just tech fads—they’re tools to level the playing field and build a future where everyone has a shot at a livable wage and a high quality of life. 🌍💼
