🤩 It's official - we're going to Oslo 🇳🇴 Over the next few months, we will go live with four brand new ultra-fast charging stations tailored for the commercial sector, but open to all. We won four out of five tenders for charging stations in the Norwegian capital ⚡ This is extra amazing as Oslo Municipality is requiring all taxis to be fossil-free as of November 1st this year, as part of their ambitious strategy to reduce their CO2-emissions by 95% by 2030 🌍 The need for urban fast charging is rapidly increasing in Oslo, especially in winter times when long queues at charging stations can disrupt operations. So we’re proud to introduce 26 charging points strategically located in the heart of Oslo — an unparalleled offering for urban drivers. As a driver, you can look forward to charging on the Kempower chargers. An example of ultra fast urban charging - even where the grid doesn't allow it ⚡ 🤩 ️ Copenhagen municipality wants to have an emission-free city by 2030, meaning no fossil driven vehicles will be roaming the streets by then. To do that, we need enough charging options in our city - especially for the cars who drive a lot. And in certain areas, our infrastructure makes it very difficult to supply the electricity for fast charging (meaning: installing a lot of cables under the ground) 👷♀️ ❓ So how do we solve the need for fast charging without the cables in the ground? Our latest charging solution at Landgreven - the ADS-TEC Energy ChargePost features an integrated battery that enables an impressive 300 kW output – all with minimal grid demand ⚡ So the battery charges from the grid, and then delivers the electricity to the cars when they need it. The first week of Stella 🌟 Since the launch of our new brand last week, we’ve received immense positive feedback from both partners and our general community in the EV/energy sector. The energy around Stella has been inspiring, and we’re excited to keep building on this momentum. 💪⚡ Over the past week we’ve: 🧡 Had a lot of inspiring conversations about EV charging at the eCarExpo Danmark - and Kenneth Herschel was on stage talking about the future of taxis and EV charging 🎁 Wrapped the first charger with our new Stella logo (thank you Michael Rønnow Iversen!) - a small but symbolic step in our new direction 💬 Spoken to a lot of EV drivers on our various locations about the new brand and what’s coming in the future - thanks to Mads Wind, Nikolaj Koester and Steffen Kjellberg 🙌 ✒️ Been featured in Finans and EnergiWatch .. and we’ve also kept working on exciting tracks that we’re not yet ready to reveal 🤫 Much more to come! Introducing Stella - the new name for ViggoEnergy ⚡️🔌 When we launched Viggo in 2019, we quickly realised that with the increase of electric cars in our streets, the commercial sector would need ultra fast charging in urban areas. So we started ViggoEnergy in 2021, launching our first publicly available EV charging station. As time passed, we realised that setting up ultra fast chargers in urban areas would be key for the electrification of our mobility in all European cities. So our ambitions increased, and the need for a new identity appeared. We needed to start a new chapter in our mission to power up urban mobility with speed and convenience for the commercial sector. The name Stella represents our vision to become a leader in urban EV fast charging across Europe 🌟 Our international journey begins with four new charging sites in Oslo over the next few months - so the city’s infrastructure will match its transition to electric taxis ⚡🚕.
