‘Tis the season to spread holiday cheer! Our Latin American Professionals Network (LAPN) is helping make the holidays a little brighter for dozens of kids in our community thanks to an employee-led toy drive. This week, Andres Marin and Brankely Garcia from LAPN’s Volunteerism and Outreach committee delivered an assortment of toys to Friends of the Children-Boston, a non-profit dedicated to empowering youth by pairing them with professional mentors. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to Andres and Brankley for making this year’s toy drive a success. Together we are making a difference!

Our Financing Solutions and State Street Associates teams recently hosted a client event in Frankfurt with the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) . The event included an educational briefing with a deep dive into data. Experts from S&P Global Market Intelligence and State Street provided an overview of securities lending data, what the data for 2024 tells us about how the market performed this year, and future trends for 2025 and beyond. They also discussed the world of alternative data and how this impacts securities lending returns. Afternoon sessions aimed to provide those involved in the German securities finance markets, including institutional investors, funds, and banks with an update on key economic trends, as well as ongoing product and regulatory developments within the industry.
