StarkNet is a ZK-Rollup built using the STARK cryptographic proof system.
About us
StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Validity-Rollup (also known as a “ZK-Rollup”). It operates as an L2 network over Ethereum, enabling any dApp to achieve unlimited scale for its computation – without compromising Ethereum’s composability and security, thanks to StarkNet’s reliance on the safest and most scalable cryptographic proof system – STARK. StarkNet Contracts and the StarkNet OS are written in Cairo – supporting the deployment and scaling of any use case, whatever the business logic.

Starknet Foundation reposted this
The L2 community is competitive and diverse but if there’s something most people on the Ethereum ecosystem seem to agree on is that Starknet has the best tech. We broke the speed record with 857 TPS on mainnet, we have the lowest fees with subcent transactions and feature rich wallets with multicall, session keys and paymaster. The catch? You have to learn a new tech stack and as a beginner it’s not easy to know where to start. This is why the Starknet Foundation has a course called Basecamp whose goal is to onboard developers into the Starknet ecosystem with a well thought out curriculum that takes you from beginner to expert in just a few weeks. The next cohort is starting on November 27th and will consist of four weekly sessions of two hours each. You’ll learn what makes Starknet special, set up a professional dev environment and build a full stack Starknet app from scratch. Are you ready to learn the best tech? Register to Basecamp using the link below.
