This 12-week experience is designed for professionals looking to develop skills in early-stage impact investing and is an opportunity to advance impact investing skills . You'll learn by doing, taking on the fundamental tasks and assignments that current impact investors do on a regular basis. The first course in the Professionals Program is led by Bruno Lam - a Propel Impact co-founder, previous Principal at the TELUS Pollinator Fund for Good. I had the pleasure of attending the Women Funding Women Inc. (WFW) events this week in Vancouver where we worked on getting more women engaged in investing in female founders. I had the great fortune of interviewing the amazing Tara Bosch who spoke about her ability to stay true to her vision, listen to her gut, and persevere through the negativity. As she noted: don’t hesitate, “take the friggen platter” and know that you are “infinitely capable”. She also offered great insights about meeting one of the most infamous VCs and how they focused their investment entirely on her personality and vision. I met some fabulous female entrepreneurs and had an opportunity to meet with female co-investors. Thanks to Lara Z.
