Happy Women's History Month! Today, we are highlighting Lindsey Olmstead, our General Manager at Hayden Lake Marina   Born in Bend, Oregon, Lindsey's journey took her worldwide. She pursued fashion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, then thrived in retail at Nordstrom. Her entrepreneurial drive led her to co-found a successful vintage mall in Long Beach, showcasing her eye for unique style. Transitioning from retail to culinary arts, Lindsey became a demonstration chef and brand ambassador for Le Creuset in Southern California. Her culinary talents and engaging personality allowed her to connect with audiences while sharing her love for cooking and exquisite kitchenware. A transformative trip to Paris in 2012 ignited Lindsey's passion for culinary exploration, prompting her to set sail for Palm Beach, Florida. There, she embraced a new chapter as a chef and stewardess on private yachts, indulging her love for the sea and fine cuisine. From cruising the Caribbean's crystal-clear waters to navigating Alaska's rugged coastline, Lindsey's maritime journey was extraordinary. Her expertise and dedication earned her roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in leadership positions within Puerto Rico's marina industry, specifically as the director of food and beverage at Puerto Del Rey. In 2019, Lindsey and her spouse returned to her hometown of Coeur d'Alene, immersing themselves in the local boating community. Lindsey found fulfillment within the marina industry, bringing her wealth of experience and passion for excellence to Hayden Lake Marina in January 2024. With her family by her side, Lindsey looks forward to continuing her maritime journey and embracing new adventures.
