About us

The world needs a new education system. School of Humanity reimagines how and what we learn in order to equip the next generation to create an exciting future for themselves and for humanity. We are an award-winning online school where learners aged 11-18 learn by doing and having a positive impact on the world. We are internationally accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges. Instead of exams, we learn through real-world projects. Instead of a standardized curriculum, we learn through personalized learning. Instead of memorization, we focus on whole-human development. With learners and alumni from over 27 countries across 6 continents, we are the school for the world. In addition to our in-house programs, we have a track record of collaborating with schools and governments who share our mission for reinventing education. We believe that transforming our global education systems will take a movement led by inspiring school leaders, passionate educators, and concerned citizens globally. We partner with existing schools by offering cutting-edge professional development, future-ready supplementary programs, an alternative school offering, and bespoke programs and consulting. Our unique curriculum equips learners with the capabilities to thrive in an exponentially changing world. We learn by tackling global challenges while receiving personalized mentorship from global experts. Every learner participates in termly internships with pioneering organizations. Human flourishing sits at the center of our curriculum, as we guide learners to develop purpose and well-being in life. Learners also receive purpose-driven career and university advisory on a weekly basis. Our vision is to reinvent our global education system, to better serve humanity.

  • 🎉 The secret is out: We’re launching a Middle School! 🎉 From Fall 2025, even younger learners can learn by doing and having a positive impact on the world. Through our award-winning high school program, we have served learners from 27 countries across 6 continents. We’ve received international accreditation, multiple awards, and even been featured in a PBS documentary. But, we felt there was something missing. This, bolstered by demand from our families, led us to imagine the impact of meeting learners even earlier in their journey. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Middle School, designed to empower young minds through play, exploration, and real-world learning. • What will education look like in the year 2100? What qualities define an effective school in that year? This may seem like an unusual question, but to be good ancestors, we need to have these critical discussions now. Real systems-level transformation in education will take generations, and we're in the early stages of that journey. That's why I was thrilled to moderate an intergenerational panel on "Education in the Year 2100" with Fathmath Zahanath Zuhury, Dr. Adil Alzarooni, and Michael Magee at the Dubai Future Forum. Here are a few key takeaways from our conversation: 🔹 In a world of shifting demographics, an aging population, and rapid automation, we must rethink the purpose of our schools and the lifestyle they are preparing learners for.  🔹 Addressing the looming climate crisis is non-negotiable. Education must empower the next generation to not only adapt but also design innovative solutions that promote sustainability and resilience. 🔹 In a post-AI world, the focus of the curriculum will shift even more to human skills - particularly the development of ethical & humane technology.  🔹 There is a good chance that we are on the path to becoming an interplanetary species, and we need to prepare our descendants to become responsible cosmic citizens.  🔹 To thrive in a complex world, future generations will need to approach challenges with interdisciplinary thinking and the ability to tackle systemic issues that affect all of us. Thank you to Eman Ebed Alkadi and the team at DUBAI FUTURE FOUNDATION for creating the platform for this discussion.

  • Mae, Head of Growth & Admissions joined a panel discussion at GESS Dubai : “6th Form to Tertiary Education and Beyond.” Mae enjoyed exploring the future of higher education, through: 💫 How to embed real-world preparation throughout school-wide curricula and pedagogy ⛰️ How we take a personalized approach to pathway and career advisory at our school 🧑🚀 The range of post-graduation pathways our learners are exploring spanning traditional universities, progressive universities, entrepreneurship and direct to industry 🌸 The importance of soft skills in today’s exponentially changing world It was a pleasure learning from all panelists, and exploring this exciting topic together.

  • Vrishank, one of our alumni, recently hosted a podcast session “Beyond Tomorrow - Navigating Frontiers” with Dr Steven Lichty at Dubai Future Forum. 🎙️ They explored “Trauma-Transformative Foresight: Reconciling the Past, Reengaging the Present, and Reimagining the Future.” We are so proud of Vrishank, and the inspiring work he is doing to make the world a better place.
