Your Upstairs Private Jeweler & Concierge - Your Journey - My Priority

Can you tell me the difference? Why is one diamond nearly $3000 more than the other? They're both 1.00ct - SI1 Clarity - G Color - Ideal Cut?? This is a screenshot from one of the largest online diamond retailers. How is this supposed to create confidence and trust with the customer? One who is spending thousands of their hard-earned money to purchase something so meaningful for their partner. It frustrates me, and the list of reasons as to "why" the difference in price will turn this post into a novel. The real unfortunate side of this is oftentimes I have to explain this to the person AFTER they've purchased the diamond. Yes, they can return it, but it turns an exciting time in this person's life and dampens it. If you're researching diamonds, jewelry, & gemstones, and want FREE, UNSOLICITED, NO OBLIGATION advice, call me. Text me. Stop by for a visit. What I'm saying is; stop buying off paper and visit a jeweler in your area, one that has your best interest at heart. There's a reason why these local brick and mortar jewelry stores are successful and have been around for years, decades, even generations; because they know how to buy a diamond. Moreover they stand behind their product. Tell me what area you live in and I'll be happy to make a referral. I'll gladly make a call on your behalf and tell the store you'll be stopping in. This isn't about sales, it's about people. Listen, Jewelers like myself are here for YOU. We care. With us, our focus is not about short term profits but fostering long term relationships. Our reputation is based solely on the quality of your jewelry buying experience. Rant over 💎💍🤘 #buylocal #diamondsareforever

Amazing that I have been blessed with such wonderful & loyal clients. I recently collaborated with a client of mine from across the country; a custom designed Alexandrite and Diamond pendant for his wife. What resulted was truly extraordinary. For those not familiar with Alexandrites, they're famous for their color change. Referred to as a Gemstone that's Emerald by day, Ruby by night. Depending on the lighting it can either be a lush green, or change to vivid red and pinkish-purple hues. Truly a miracle of creation. The stronger the color change, the more rare and valuable they become. Each Alex really has their own personality. This one was a spark plug 💥 and was truly a sight to behold. #Alexandrite. #customdesign. #jewelry

💙💥👍 What emoji / symbol would you use? 👄🌷⭐️⚡️ How cool is this? Time for me to get all Gem Geek on ya! 🤓🤘🤓 Lab diamonds emitting fluorescence under UV light! People have creatively utilized these fluorescent properties to create special symbols / emojis hidden in their jewelry

  • A good joke for the day.... Bill died, leaving a will that provided $30,000 for an elaborate funeral. As the last of the visitors departed the services, his wife, Lynne, turned to her dearest friend, Sue, and said, "Well, I think Bill would be pleased." "I'm sure you're right," replied Sue, who then lowered her voice and leaned in close. "How much did this really cost?" "All of it," said Lynne. "All thirty thousand." "No!" Sue exclaimed. "I mean, it was very nice, but $30,000?" Lynne replied, "Yes. The funeral was $6,500; I donated $500 to the church, and the wake, food and drinks were another $500. The rest went for the Memorial Stone." Sue computed quickly and asked, "$22,500 for a Memorial Stone? My goodness, how big is it?" "Two and a half carats."
