  • Custom home design is all about the details, and one of the critical decisions is the style of your home’s eaves. Exposed rafter tails showcase the “bones” of a home, blending authenticity with craftsmanship. Alternatively, flat soffits with carved corbels offer a value-engineered, ornamental alternative with a similar aesthetic. Both designs bring unique visual interest, but your choice should align with your architectural style and budget. Pro Tip: Collaborate with your builder, architect, and designer early on for a seamless design process.
