How M3ter maintains the quality of monetization infrastructure during model development 💸 Exclusive from #theCUBE + NYSE Wired #CFOSummit, our John Furrier talks with John Griffin, CRO of m3ter. “As companies adopt AI into their own products, what they learn very quickly is their cost base changes quite a lot and therefore, they're better off adopting a usage or value-based pricing model. One of our biggest observations before we set up M3ter was that software companies are good at focusing on building great products, but often at the expense of their monetization infrastructure,” Griffin shares. “That wasn't a problem when everybody was on subscription because seats are not that hard to process. But as soon as you actually have to start charging in using these mechanisms, it exposes weaknesses. M3ter's job was to address those and give companies the same kind of level and quality of monetization infrastructure as they have with their own product,” he adds. 🔴Tune in now! https://lnkd.in/dhqb5b5M #CFOtrends #EnterpriseTech #WallStreetANGLE Brian J. The 3 fundamental changes in modern #AIinfra ✨Airing now with #theCUBE! Join us at @nyse Wired for the #CFOSummit, where we’re hearing from Vishal Shukla, CEO of Aviz Networks, about three fundamental changes in AI infrastructure: the definition of compute, app bandwidth, and leveraging AI for productivity gains. “First things first, the definition of compute is changing in today's world. It used to be the CPUs, and now it's going towards the GPUs. GPU is a different kind of a compute thing. It should not be idle, and how it would not be idle depends upon the network,” Shukla shares. “The second pillar is that the applications are getting bandwidth hungry. Pretty much any application in today's world has AI-accelerated or AI chatbot or something like that, which actually is going to have a lot more bandwidth and data coming in and out. The third one is every single network operator out there is looking for how to use AI for productivity gains,” he adds. 🔴Tune in now! https://lnkd.in/dhqb5b5M #CFOtrends #EnterpriseTech #WallStreetANGLE John Furrier, Brian J. Airing now! Join #theCUBE’s John Furrier at NYSE Wired #CFOSummit, as he speaks with Daphne de Jong, the CEO of Ven, about the evolving capital markets and associated financial mechanisms. “What instruments are part of it basically, and who's allocating money where? I think it's a combination because usually it used to be the Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, etc. It's more and more so private markets, growth capital, and private equity. It is usually a hybrid of multiple options, bonds, and it's coming from many different sectors as well as corporations,” de Jong shares. “I love to see it because I think being able to allocate capital to these, in some cases, assets that help solve problems around energy transition, climate specific problems I care a lot about – Being able to move that faster by looking at hybrid financing mechanisms is really interesting,” she adds. 🔴Tune in now! https://lnkd.in/dhqb5b5M #CFOtrends #EnterpriseTech #WallStreetANGLE Brian J. The future of grid architecture 🚀Airing now from the #CFOSummit! In this discussion with #theCUBE + NYSE Wired, John Furrier hears from Bill Tai, Venture Capitalist at ACTAI Global, about the present and the future of grid architecture. “We moved from making pieces of silicon that could steer electrons locally to representing bits with electrons and moving them through a phone network. Now, we're going back to how do you move electrons in a gigantic, context-aware cloud and how to route the electricity inside? What we're going to see is something that is a software-based solution enhanced by AI and adds intelligence to a living network,” Tai shares. “The electrical packets are going to have some sort of an intelligence layer on it, a protocol,” he furthers, giving the example of a solar grid needing to push electrons into the grid. “The output's got to come out somewhere when it gets used, or it gets stored. So, where it is at any one time, the whole system has to know, and that's going to be an intelligence, an AI thing,” he adds. 🔴Tune in now! https://lnkd.in/dhqb5b5M #CFOtrends #EnterpriseTech #WallStreetANGLE Brian J. The benefits of network layer security for companies ⚒️ At #theCUBE + @nyse Wired #CFOSummit, our analyst John Furrier hears from Brian Anderson, Global Field CTO at Cato Networks, about the importance of network layer security for companies. “Cato has a global backbone, and we have one point of inspection. We call it SPACE, Single Pass Cloud Engine. We can see everything that happens over the network. Speaking to how AI is leveraged in this, we can run models on top of that to identify anomalies that happen in your environment or XDR platform. I could tell if there is a user that's acting in an abnormal way, or if lateral movement is happening within the environment,” Anderson shares. “Think of every network flow that has an identity card tied to it. I know who it is that's coming on my network and what they're accessing. I can now pinpoint anomalies that happen, whether be an experience anomaly, a security anomaly, or a network anomaly. Those things are now easy to pinpoint, so they become actionable insights on top of our data that we already have,” he adds. 🔴 Watch the broadcast! https://lnkd.in/dhqb5b5M #CFOtrends #EnterpriseTech #WallStreetANGLE Brian J. Pleased to share my conversation with SiliconANGLE & theCUBE Research’s John Furrier and David Vellante for theCUBE’s “Cloud AWS re:Invent Coverage,” about how AWS Marketplace and the AWS Partner Network are transforming the global tech landscape. In the past year alone, we've seen 45 marquee launches on AWS Marketplace, demonstrating our commitment to innovation. But we're not stopping there – we're expanding internationally, bringing more capabilities to our global partners and customers. The AWS Partner Network is the engine behind this growth. From infrastructure partners to industry-specific ISVs and promising startups, AWS is cultivating a diverse ecosystem that drives innovation across sectors. What's particularly exciting is how we're enabling ERP systems to leverage cloud benefits making it easier for partners like SAP to manage their offerings, while customers can focus on core business needs. Plus, the cloud opens doors to cutting-edge generative AI applications, combining ERP data with AWS capabilities. AWS Marketplace is becoming the go-to platform for transacting infrastructure products, simplifying procurement for enterprises worldwide. As we continue to innovate and grow, I'm proud of how we are empowering customers to expand, reach new markets, and create unprecedented value for their customers. Together, we're not just adapting to the future of tech – we're shaping it. Check out the full interview: https://lnkd.in/gcPyMrGG
