We had so much fun celebrating Halloween with our patients yesterday! 🎃 Our annual giant pumpkin surgery was a hit, and our staff dazzled during the costume parade! 👻 Patients went around the hospital to trick or treat at the different departments, all decorated to match the respective team's costumes! 🤩 A big thank you to our staff for making Halloween 2024 so special for our patients and their families! 💝 #ShrinersChildrens #ShrinersChildrensNorCA #Halloween #HalloweenCostume #ChildrensHospital #TrickOrTreat

Gabby, a Shriners Children's Northern California Patient Ambassador, had an unforgettable experience at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas! ⛳️ As one of the few patient ambassadors selected nationwide, Gabby served as a Standard Bearer at the PGA TOUR event, walking alongside pros and carrying their scores. This “inside the ropes” opportunity gave her the chance to share her story and the impact has had on her life. 🙌 Gabby underwent Vertebral Body Tethering (VBT) for scoliosis, a procedure performed by Rolando Roberto, M.D., that allowed her to maintain flexibility and continue competing in cheerleading. After a remarkable recovery, Gabby was back on the mat just seven months later, helping her team win a national competition. Her story is a testament to the amazing work our doctors do for our patients. 🫶 We’re so proud of Gabby and thrilled she could represent our hospital at this prestigious event! 💝 #ShrinersChildrens #PGA #StandardBearer #Scoliosis #Cheerleader #ShrinersNorCA #VBT #ScoliosisCare
