Shared Harvest is a social enterprise B Corporation with a mission to spread compassion through wellness, service and relief. Our empathy-driven tech (empatech™) platform addresses the digital divide and the disproportionate effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on those impacted by racial inequalities compounded by social, economic, and health inequities. The myCovidMD™ Free Public Telehealth Platform and the Community Health Partners (CHP) Network direct resources to residents in low-resourced communities in real time. Our volunteer management solution remains the first of its kind to transform the liability of student loan debt into an asset class for social change. The Project #RESUS loan forgiveness program is an intentional effort to reduce depression, burnout and suicide amongst providers that are Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC). It enhances the work of our CHP telehealth network by providing real time credit towards student loan reduction in addition to free wellness, peer storytelling and learning and mental health support. Shared Harvest is a force for building a trusted, culturally competent health network that also takes care of its own. If you want to be part of the CHP network, or partner with us through your organization, connect with us!

Join us for the virtual screening of our film at the upcoming Sports Entertainment and Impact Summit (SEI) 2024, which is 3 DAYS AWAY! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Attendees of the SEI Summit will have the exclusive opportunity to virtually watch I Am Not Your Hero, produced and directed by Kelley Kali and co-produced by Shared Harvest founder Nana B. Afoh-Manin MD, MPH, MPA and Christine Simmons. The film is a compelling documentary that exposes the twin crises of health inequities and systemic racism within America’s healthcare system through the lens of ER physician Briana Young, MD. The film sheds light on the immense struggles faced by the next generation of doctors and nurses, particularly BIPOC medical providers, as they grapple with burnout, financial hardship, and the pressure to serve under-resourced communities ‼️. With the U.S. healthcare workforce in crisis and nearly 34% of providers expected to leave the industry in the next four years, this film highlights the urgent need for systemic change to support our frontline workers and ensure equitable healthcare access for all. 📌 To support Project#RESUS and the outreach and engagement campaign through I Am Not Your Hero, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Shared Harvest Foundation [https://lnkd.in/d4C8_mE2]. Your contribution will help eliminate $20 million in student loan debt for minority and first-generation health professionals over the next three years, strengthening our healthcare workforce and advancing health equity.
