How do we keep work moving smoothly as a small business? We set ourselves up for success. Onboarding new clients smoothly is crucial for setting the right tone. At Session Interactive, our client account managers take this to heart. We recently onboarded a client pivoting to a new audience, which meant lots of new tools and strategies. 🗓️ From setting clear timelines and expectations to discussing communication protocols and start dates, we make sure our clients know exactly what to expect. Understanding the client's bandwidth helps us gauge how quickly we can turn things around and set realistic goals. 🔍 Our thorough onboarding process includes understanding whether the clients are familiar with the channels we'll be using and determining if they need extra support. It's all about building rapport and ensuring a smooth transition. What's the best thing you've seen in an onboarding meeting? Or, more fun, the worst? #ClientOnboarding #MarketingStrategy #Teamwork #ClientExpectations #SmoothTransition

🚀 Boost Your Ecommerce SEO with Accurate Merchant Listings Data 🛒 If you run an ecommerce website, merchant listings are a crucial part of your SEO strategy. Users searching for products often see a grid of merchant listings as the top result on Google. But getting accurate data on these listings is tough. Here’s what you need to know: 1️⃣ Search Console Data Impressions for web pages are registered when they appear in search results. For merchant listings, impressions are only registered after users click to expand them, skewing metrics like click-through rate and average position. 2️⃣ Rank Tracking Popular tools like Ahrefs and Semrush struggle with merchant listing data: Ahrefs requires manual export for tracking. Semrush doesn’t include merchant listings in keyword rankings. 3️⃣ Conversion Tracking Organic traffic from merchant listings in GA4 should appear under “Organic Shopping,” but it’s often misattributed. Enable conversion tracking in Google Merchant Center by adding GA4 as a source and enabling auto-tagging. Thanks to Patrick for diving deep into this topic for us. How are you tracking merchant listings? Let us know in the comments. 🔍 Keywords: #EcommerceSEO #MerchantListings #SearchConsole #GA4 #SEOData #DigitalMarketing

🔍 Does the end of third-party cookies spell doom for digital ad revenue? 🤔 With Google opting to keep third-party cookies in Chrome browsers, the debate over user privacy versus ad revenue intensifies. @Criteo's testing revealed a staggering 60% drop in revenue without these cookies. Google is now planning to present Privacy Sandbox—a new Chrome experience that allows users to control their privacy settings without significantly denting publisher revenue. In tests, publishers reported only a 20% revenue dip using this API. 20% hurts, but it's not the 60% drop from disabling all third party cookies. While this approach appears to be more of a win-win for both users and publishers, it’s crucial to remember these are preliminary figures. More widespread adoption and usage are needed to gauge the true impact of Google's solution. What is your plan for keeping revenue afloat with restricted cookies? Share your thoughts below! 👇 #Google #ThirdPartyCookies #PrivacySandbox #DigitalMarketing #AdRevenue #UserPrivacy #Innovation 🚀💬

🚀 Mini Case Study 🚀 In May 2024, our client was trying to deal with page-loading issues that were dragging their rankings down. Their website reported 106 poor URLs on both mobile and desktop, compared to just 58 good URLs per Core Web Vitals. Severe layout shift issues were pulling down their Core Web Vitals scores, jeopardizing their search rankings. Our team stepped in to tackle these pressing PageSpeed issues. We documented individual layout shifts across their Collection and Product page templates, providing developers with comprehensive instructions to address these problems. Fast forward to July 2024, and the transformation is remarkable. The client now boasts 0 poor URLs, with the majority hitting "good" scores across all devices. This significant improvement not only secures their rankings but also enhances user experience. Want to know how we can help your business achieve similar results? What do our client account managers do? They catch blind spots. Here's an example: Recently, we worked with a YMYL company in a highly competitive industry. We started by assessing their current strategy and realized that a multi-channel approach could benefit their brand awareness and audience growth. From there, we expanded their services to include targeted campaigns across several platforms. The impact was quickly noticeable—more eyes on their brand and a stronger presence in the market! 💡 Here's the thing: A multi-channel strategy isn't just about being everywhere; it's about being where it matters most and ensuring all channels work together seamlessly. Setting up the most impressive ads campaigns is only as good as a client's analytics capabilities. Because Session Interactive can offer comprehensive analytics alongside a paid (or organic) channel, we can drive growth clearly and deliberately. The trick is knowing your client's goals and which channels will work together to drive conversions. A solid account manager can spot a strategic hole and make suggestions for a multi-service strategy. We love our client account managers! Share some love for your favorite account managers in the comments. #DigitalMarketing #ClientSuccess #MultiChannelStrategy #BrandAwareness #AudienceGrowth

SEO top tip: boost your local SEO with NAP consistency. 🌟One of the most overlooked yet crucial factors for Local SEO is NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) consistency. Making sure that your business name, address, and phone number are exactly the same across all online platforms can seriously help your local search rankings. The User Journey Starts Early: The user journey begins the moment they see your brand in search results, maps, or local listings. Consistent NAP information helps users progress seamlessly. Avoid Common Pitfalls: Many businesses forget to update profiles on sites like Clutch, Crunchbase, or even Facebook. This small oversight can lead to major boosts (or drops) in local SEO rankings. Find Hidden Listings: Sometimes, businesses are featured on third-party sites without knowing it. Websites like MapQuest may create automatic profiles—always Google your brand to check! 💡 Pro Tip: Lazy local pages help nobody. Avoid creating thin, low-value pages just to rank for local terms. Google’s algorithms target these ineffective tactics, leading to poor user experiences. 🌟 Focusing on NAP consistency and providing valuable, localized content can influence the user journey right from the search stage and drive more conversions. Are you staying on top of NAP consistency? #LocalSEO #NAPConsistency #DigitalMarketing #UserJourney #SEOtips
