Chief Executive Officer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) and host of the Schweitzer Drive podcast
We just wrapped up a fantastic week of activities in conjunction with the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Sunday evening we hosted a 40th Anniversary Dinner to celebrate our history with a guest appearance by Rod Scheel, formerly with Ottertail Power Co—the first customer to purchase an SEL-21! The next day, we had 270 folks turn out for the 𝗦𝗘𝗟 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 which was kicked off by our Founder and President Dr. Ed Schweitzer who spoke about the importance of keeping the lights on no matter what. We followed that up with 15 of our technical experts presenting on our latest products and solutions for helping make electric power safer, more reliable and more economical. We also had the pleasure of hosting a group of university students at our seminar and at the conference this year. It was a great time! And, thank you Washington State University for hosting another great WPRC! #WPRC #Engineering #Innovation #PowerGrid
