Did you see the SECOND Journal of Clinical Microbiology (JCM) publication on ZEUS Borrelia MTTT® for Lyme disease? Find out how to get your FREE copy below. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT! "Performance of two modified two-tier algorithms for the serologic diagnosis of Lyme disease" was published in May of 2024. ➡️ WHAT: This study compared the sensitivity and specificity of two Modified Two-Tier Testing (MTTT) algorithm platforms with the Standard Two-Tiered (STTT) algorithm on 537 samples. ➡️ WHO: The two MTTT algorithms used were a chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA), and Sebia AI-ID’s enzyme-linked immunoassay (ZEUS Borrelia MTTT ELISA). ➡️ WHERE: The study was conducted at a large prestigious northeastern hospital. ➡️ CONCLUSION: The authors stated “…… CLIA MTTT was less sensitive for the detection of IgM than ZEUS ELISA MTTT and STTT including in 5 early Lyme cases that were IgM negative but IgG positive.” The study concluded, “both MTTT options showed better sensitivity for IgG detection than immunoblots, leading to fewer IgM-only results and greater diagnostic confidence for early Lyme. ZEUS ELISA MTTT detected more IgM positives than CLIA MTTT and more active Lyme cases than CLIA or STTT.” WANT A 🆓 FREE 🆓 COPY? Are you still using the Standard Two-Tiered Testing (STTT) algorithm to detect Lyme disease? See who you will be missing with ZEUS Borrelia MTTT (Modified Two-Tiered Testing)! In a multicenter clinical evaluation of MTTT algorithms for Lyme disease testing publication in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology (JCM), ZEUS Borrelia MTTT-2 detected nearly DOUBLE the cases of early Lyme disease compared to STTT. The authors of the May 2022 paper concluded that “compared with STTT, both MTTT algorithms provided increased sensitivity in erythema migrans (EM) patients, comparable sensitivity in later disease and non-inferior specificity.” Want a 🆓 FREE 🆓copy? https://lnkd.in/eRZQVjgq Fill out this form ☝️ for a complimentary reprint of the JCM May 2022 publication and/or to discuss how we can help you make the switch from STTT to MTTT for Lyme disease testing.

Tomorrow October 12th is World Arthritis day! 🌎🧿🎗️ Let's raise awareness for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) ➡️ What is RA? #RheumatoidArthritis is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, meaning that your immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells in your body, causing chronic inflammation. ➡️Symptoms The affected areas are mainly joints, especially the small ones in the hands and feet, as well as those in the wrists and knees. ✅ Pain, stiffness or swelling in more than one joint ✅ Symptoms on both sides of the body (i.e., both hands) ✅ Weight loss ✅ Fever ✅ Fatigue or weakness Those with RA experience joint pain, stiffness, swelling, decreased movement of the joints and even unsteadiness or deformity. Sometimes, RA can affect other organs like the eyes, skin or lungs. It is likely to show up between ages 30 and 50. If you experience any of the RA symptoms listed above, we urge you to follow up with your healthcare provider. ➡️ Getting Diagnosed Sebia AI-ID’s products play an important role in aiding the diagnosis of RA. While no single test is used to diagnose RA, Sebia AI-ID provides key IFA and ELISA antibody testing solutions, which are used in conjunction with other laboratory tests to aid in diagnosing RA. 🧿 Spotlighting our Anti-MCV® product 🧿 Sebia AI-ID offers the ONLY FDA-cleared test for the detection of autoantibodies against mutated citrullinated vimentin (MCV). Anti-MCV is highly specific and extremely sensitive for early diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis! Anti-MCV can detect the disease at a very early stage, even in patients who test negative for rheumatoid factor and to some degree even before the appearance of specific clinical symptoms. What tests can help diagnose Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)? Autoantibodies against citrullinated peptides/proteins (ACPA), e.g. anti-MCV and anti-CCP, and rheumatoid factor (RF) are essential components of the ACR/EULAR criteria for classification of #RheumatoidArthritis. ☑️ Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody (CCP): found in most people who have RA, almost never found in people who don’t. ☑️ Rheumatoid Factor (RF) – Not all people with RA test positive for RF ☑️ Anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin (MCV) – highly specific (97%) and extremely sensitive (82%) marker for RA, and can detect RA at a very early stage – even in patients who test negative for RF! 👉 Why add Anti-MCV® to your RA testing panel? Sebia Autoimmune & Infectious Diseases - USA offers the 💢ONLY FDA-cleared test 💢 for the detection of autoantibodies against mutated citrullinated vimentin (MCV): Anti-MCV! Anti-MCV is HIGHLY SPECIFIC and EXTREMELY SENSITIVE for early diagnosis of RA! Anti-MCV can detect the disease at a very early stage, even in patients who test negative for rheumatoid factor and to some degree even before the appearance of specific clinical symptoms.
