We invest in companies creating cutting-edge technology, and HavocAI is doing just that. We're excited about what's next. #dualuse #dualusevc Bradley C. Harrison Cody H. Paul Lwin
We're developing an autonomous launch procedure that enables a two person crew to launch large teams of USVs in rapid succession - less than one minute per boat. Once the "Launch" play is sent from HavocControl to the team, the shore crew simply presses a button to launch each Rampage. The boats will join their team in a pod at the egress point to await the next task. #maritimeautonomy #USVs #HavocAI

We're thrilled with this investment and excited to work with Beacon AI and Matt Cox. Their laser focus on solving problems for their customers was instantly apparent, and their expertise in the field gives them a leg up. We can't wait to help support the special things the team is building.

HavocAI has delivered their first two vessels--and they launched in January of this year. The speed is incredible and we're excited for the future and our continued partnership! Bradley C. Harrison Paul Lwin
It is amazing to see the speed at which HavocAI is delivering on its ultra-low cost, high-rate production USVs. Very exciting for them to deliver their first two vessels to their DoD customer and in the hands of operators. What is even more impressive is that fact HavocAI was founded in January 2024 (yes, that is this year)! Congrats Paul Lwin, Joe Turner, Andrew Gregg, Lucas Hoffmann and the entire HavocAI Team on delivering at the speed of relevance! I am very excited for the partnership between Scout Ventures & HavocAI! Bradley C. Harrison Nate George Michael Keane Jay Wisham Ian Folau Kellie Pais Greg Kaparski

We are very excited Scout Ventures is leading this $11M round in HavocAI with a $5M check. We are super excited to be backing another team of veterans lead by Paul Lwin Cody H. Nate George Michael Keane #dualusevc #dualuse
At HavocAI, we're thrilled to announce the closing of our Seed Funding Round. This comes at a critical time amidst war in Europe, conflict in the Middle East, and rising tensions in the Pacific. Initiatives such as Replicator and the CNO's Project 33 unveiled earlier this week, send a clear message to the industry that autonomous systems will play a pivotal role in the next great conflict. HavocAI stands ready to answer the call by making maritime autonomy truly scalable, enabling a single operator to supervise thousands of autonomous systems anywhere on the globe. Countless thanks to our incredible investors led by Scout Ventures, co-led by Trousdale Ventures and supported by Outlander VC, The Veteran Fund, Decisive Point, BVVC, New North Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. We're grateful for your partnership and trust. We're thrilled with this investment and looking forward to working with Beacon AI. They are building a future with an AI assistant or Copilot in every professional flight deck. Use cases include route optimization, coaching on procedures, pilot safety systems and much more.
I am excited to announce Scout Ventures latest investment in Beacon AI as part of a matching fund investment for a USSOCOM / AFWERX contract. Beacon AI is building the future of flight safety for commercial & private fleets across the globe. The team is top notch and led by professional pilots with deep experience in aviation, and also leadership with years of experience building self-driving car software. We look forward to continuing our support for Matt Cox and the Beacon AI Team as they continue to build and expand their partnerships across the DoD & Commercial markets! 🚀 Bradley C. An incredible milestone for an early portfolio company! Congrats Jan Goetgeluk and Virtuix!
We started Virtuix a decade ago with the vision to enable physical movement inside virtual worlds, which we believe to be a critical component of VR. Walk, run, crouch, and jump in 360 degrees, just like you do in real life. 10 years later, after a successful pivot to commercial entertainment and enterprise, the home VR system that we envisioned from the start is finally here. Thank you Forbes and Charlie Fink for this thoughtful feature article about the history of Virtuix and Omni One, and our investor Mark Cuban for your early support and this admirable quote: “I believe in the Virtuix team and technology,” said Cuban. “They’re bringing a revolutionary product to market that enables users to physically move around within virtual worlds. It’s a key piece of VR that’s been missing.” #perseverance #virtualrealty https://lnkd.in/gFcsRuQh

At Scout, we believe our focus is our competitive advantage. It's sourcing entrepreneurs that are ex-military, ex-intelligence community, or come out of national labs, tied in many cases to DoD funding and grants for critical technology innovation. We're able to add value around the team, around the scalability of the business, and around where we think liquidity is going to happen. And we're able to add value by how we interact with founders. We talk to our founders all the time. And the majority of our conversations center around actually building the business. That's what we bring to the table. Bradley C.
