More than 1400 abstracts have been submitted for the One Ocean Science Congress scheduled in Nice, France, in June 2025. To manage this substantial volume, we have decided to commence the congress half a day earlier than initially planned. The event will now begin on 3rd June at 14:00 CET and conclude in the early evening of 6th June as originally scheduled. We anticipate a stimulating and engaging conference! (EN) The ECOP Programme’s Central American Node is offering a remote internship to support regional coordination tasks. The intern will assist in drafting calls for new positions, managing social media outreach, compiling a database of 2024 activities, and structuring the annual report. Candidates should be pursuing or already possess a degree in ocean science or related fields, with strong organizational and communication skills in Spanish (with English preferred as well). The internship starts around 6 January 2025, lasting 3 months, with a possible one-month extension.
