It was pleasure having you join us yesterday!! Thanks Chioma C. Aladimma, AICMC
Your No. 1 Legal Blogger and Orator | Expert Legal Researcher | Seasoned UI/UX Designer & Design Prototyper | Stellar Writer, Critic and Editor | Certified Mediator | Scholar | Linguist | Instrumentalist | Sportsman |
Someone told me, "Chioma.. you like attending events too much. You no dey rest?" This was my response 👇🏾 I simply attended another one. Another person told me, "You read a bit too much. All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy." So, what did I do? I spent the whole day into the midnight, reading. Another person told me, "Chioma, stop all these LinkedIn things. Free yourself and relax." Then, I said "Ok.. and literally posted twice, that same evening." What message am I trying to pass across? People will always criticize you. But, it's left to you to, sift the grain from the shaft. If I don't attend any event for months, you'll hear "Chioma, you've not been attending events. What's happening?" If I don't read for one week, "Chioma, you've just been playing anyhow these days. How many books have you read like this, this week?" If I don't post on LinkedIn for two months, "Chi Chi, I've not seen any posts on your LinkedIn for sometime. Inspiration don finish?" So, my friends.. once you're on the right track, expect a lot of criticism. Let the right people cheer you on and you're good to go. ------------------------------------------ Yes.. so yesterday, I attended a virtual session hosted by Scholarly, with the theme/ topic, "Breaking into Tech: From Aspiration to Reality." It was an enlightening one. The co-host, Boluwatife Ayesa asked brilliant questions and the speakers: Kelvin Ofili and George Olatoyan were superb! While Kelvin walked us through, his internship with a top software development company and how a standard CV should be; George emphasized the importance of Portfolios.. as they speak for you, even while you're not presently there. In essence, it was definitely worth attending. A big thank you to the host, co-host and speakers! And, thank you Chukwuemeka Aladimma for posting the link. I wouldn't have attended, had it not been for you! If you've not downloaded Scholarly, go to your App store or Play store and install it now. Also, stay tuned for the virtual hangout. I'll "meet" you there!🧏🏾♀️ __________________________ P.S: Seeing me for the first time? I am your one and only Legal Blogger, Chioma C. Aladimma, AICMC! 😍🏆 I give you three E's, through all my posts; Enlightenment, Encouragement and Entertainment. In disbelief? Check my previous posts 🤭💕 Are you ready to level up?
