Clearly, McDonalds did a good job managing the narrative around the foodborne illness outbreak implicated to their Quarter Pounder hamburgers, particularly the slivered onions. They acted quickly to remove the questionable ingredients and communicated to the public with known details. How will this affect their business long-term?
