In 2021, we launched the first-ever grantmaking campaign of its kind for a community foundation: Fifty & Forward. Our goal is to award $500 million in grants to address our region’s greatest opportunities in education, for children and families and our environment. This campaign also sets an ambitious goal to raise $1 billion to fuel SDF’s impact for the next 50 years, creating lasting change and building a community where everyone thrives. ✨ Learn more about how we can make a difference together at SDFoundation.org/50. #SDF50 #Philanthropy #CommunityImpact

Did you know San Diego County is home to the 7th largest Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community in the country? 🌏 Our new State of San Diego Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians & Pacific Islanders Report, developed in partnership with the San Diego Regional Policy & Innovation Center, highlights significant disparities within this diverse population. Making up 16.2% of San Diego County’s total population, the AANHPI community is among the largest and most diverse in the U.S. However, these individuals are often treated as a monolith or a group of people who are thought to be the same, which masks the gaps that exist across different AANHPI subgroups. ➡️ Read the full report at https://lnkd.in/gsGvfHg3. #AANHPI #DiversityAndInclusion #RepresentationMatters
