At last month’s #OCP2024 Global Summit, a groundbreaking collaboration between #SamsungFoundry, Arm, ADTechnology, and Rebellions was unveiled. This joint effort will bring a cutting-edge 2nm #AI CPU chiplet platform based on Arm Neoverse V3 CSS and designed for cloud, high-performance computing (#HPC), and AI/machine learning (#ML) training and inference. This strategic collaboration underscores a shared desire to deliver an AI CPU chiplet platform with 2-3x efficiency advantage for GenAI workloads compared to other leading solutions. While at the show, Kelvin Low of Samsung and Imran Yusuf of Arm took to the stage to present, “Accelerating AI Innovation with Arm Total Design: A Case Study.” The presentation discussed how their collaboration in the Arm Total Design ecosystem led to the development of an innovative AI chiplet platform for datacenters, networking, and telecoms market. The presentation explored key industry challenges and illustrated clear value propositions of the new AI CPU chiplet platform.
