Every $1 donated results in $30 in prescription retail value delivered to clinic patients.
About us
Founded in 2003, Rx Partnership (RxP) was established to coordinate the donation of bulk brand medications from brand pharmaceutical manufacturers to clinics with licensed pharmacies. Recognizing that clinics without pharmacies needed access to affordable generic medications, in 2017, RxP launched the Access to Medication Program (AMP) in which RxP leverages group purchasing power to provide generic medications for clinics without pharmacies. Rx Partnership is constantly exploring innovative and effective ways to increase medication access through a variety of methods to assist vulnerable Virginians. OUR MISSION Rx Partnership increases medication access for vulnerable Virginians and strengthens the health safety net. OUR VISION A future where every Virginian has access to the medication they need. For each $1 donated, $21 in retail prescription value was delivered to clinic patients https://www.facebook.com/RxPartnership/ https://twitter.com/RxPartnershipVA

Rx Partnership has pioneered access to medication for 20 years working with free and charitable clinics in Virginia, 16 clinics that have a pharmacy on-site, and 15 that do not. The clinics that do not rely on the assistance of a “Central Fill” pharmacy to dispense medications to treat chronic conditions to uninsured patients in their communities. Northern Neck-Middlesex Free Health Clinic in Kilmarnock, Va. volunteered to serve as the newest Central Fill for RxP. They expanded their pharmacy capacity and started serving partner clinic Ledwith-Lewis Free Clinic in Tappahannock, Va, with plans to support other clinics in the near future. Thank you The Community Foundation of the New River Valley for your support of so many nonprofits doing valuable and essential work for the people in southwest Virginia, including Rx Partnership! We are grateful to be one of those, and we are grateful for your support of our mission! #communityfoundation #nonprofit #philanthropy
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our grantee luncheon last week at The Thorn Spring Golf Course and Event Center. This fall, we proudly awarded $220,000 in Responsive Grants to 69 incredible nonprofits serving the #NewRiverValley. 😊 We’re so grateful for the important work these organizations do to uplift our community—and for the generous donors who make it all possible. Special thanks to our event sponsors National Bank of Blacksburg , First Bank and Trust, and Atlantic Union Bank, we’re making a difference! 🤩

Thank you to Collin Winters (PharmD candidate at the VCU School of Pharmacy), as he finishes his five week student intern rotation with Rx Partnership today.
