As 2023 comes to an end, we've been reflecting. First a HUGE thank you to all our 2023 visitors to Rumage. We are delighted that together we can make second hand a viable first choice. We stuck it to Black Friday and Cyber Monday with PINK FRIDAY. Next year we will ramp that up. We also calculated that our users have saved at least 621 metric tons of carbon by buying preloved, which is equivalent to 65 return flights from London to Sydney, or 621 of these cubes if you want to see what 1 tonne of carbon dioxide looks like. We've had 150,000 visitors so far this year. Thanks so much to each and everyone! We've built 32 relationships with pre-loved and refurbished sites. More to come in 2024. We've written 10 Guides to help you buy second hand with confidence. We launched Rumage Street to showcase offers from like-minded businesses. We are proud to tell you that as a company, Rumage is hosted on servers powered by renewable energy and we made the decision when setting up to be a completely remote team. No office to heat and light and no unnecessary travel costs. Anyone interested in working with us in 2024 to improve their impact statistics please get in touch. We have built a service to help businesses join in with the drive to make the circular economy first choice.
