Bally Design's CEO, Julie Gulick, recently mentored five companies to perfect their pitch decks for the 2024 Pittsburgh Robotics Network Discovery Day! These companies showcased their innovative ideas at the Robotics Factory Accelerate Program Showcase during Discovery Day and were part of the second Robotics Factory Accelerate cohort! But the journey didn't end there! These innovative companies were celebrated at a special graduation event this month, where they received their well-deserved recognition... and their big checks!🎉 Here’s a look at the incredible work they’re doing ⤵️ ▪️ForSight Assistive Devices (Nicholas Bhai): Dedicated to creating products to assist the visually impaired. ▪️Reclamation Factory (Georgia Crowther): Building the future of a distributed circular economy for plastics. ▪️Journey Robotics (Reeg Allen): Creating aviation automation solutions to improve safety and efficiency in airport and airline operations. ▪️Humotech (Josh Caputo): Providing a wearable robotics platform (Caplex™) that enables researchers to rapidly iterate and evaluate solutions for human mobility. ▪️HeadStrait Labs (Mary Squire and Alyssa Theroux): A female-led medical device company developing new technology to improve patient outcomes during prehospital care and ambulance transportation.
