Each fall, Riverside hosts an educational breakfast, welcoming clergy and representatives from places of worship across Kankakee and surrounding counties. This year’s event, led by Rev. Marsha Collins, our Director of Pastoral Care, brought together 85 attendees for an important discussion on “Facing End of Life.” Panelists included Dr. McCuiston, Riverside’s Chief Medical Officer; Dr. Joehar Hamdan, Physician of Oncology; Kathy O’Grady, VP and Chief Nursing Officer; Sena McCollum, RN Manager of IMCU; and Korene Scharp, RN Manager of ICU. Thank you to all the clergy, ministers, lay leaders, hospice professionals, and community members who joined us for this meaningful event!
