Rhino Health AI Program Lead Daniel Feller recently joined the NetZeroAICT Annual Consortium meeting. Rhino is proud to support this EU-funded global effort to both improve outcomes and improve sustainability of care by developing an alternative to the traditional use of iodinated contrast media.
🌟 NetZeroAICT Annual Consortium Meeting Highlights 🌟 Our annual meeting in Nice showcased remarkable progress through comprehensive discussions and collaborations. Here are the key takeaways: 👥 Public and Patient Advisory Group: Actively participated in co-designing and co-developing our project, ensuring that our solutions are patient-centric and impactful. 📜 Ethics Compliance and Governance Architecture: Defined by our Ethics Management Group to ensure ethical compliance. 🔍 Social and Life Cycle Analysis Plan: Developed to assess social impact and lifecycle analysis. 📊 Milestone Achievement: Reached a significant milestone with the collection of 100k CT scans, enhancing the robustness of our research. 💻 AI Model Design Outline: Established AI architecture and evaluation metrics focusing on sustainable and efficient methodologies. 📚 Publications Strategy: Defined a clear strategy for disseminating our findings and innovations. 💡 Innovation Management Group Workshop: Conducted a workshop to foster innovation and ensure the sustainability of our project outcomes. 📅 Abstract for Poster and Presentation at ECR 2025: Accepted at the European Congress of Radiology 2025 organised by the European Society of Radiology. Supported by the European Commission and co-funded by #HorizonEurope and UK Research and Innovation, NetZeroAICT aims to advance sustainable AI technologies for better patient care by eliminating the need for iodinated contrast media (RCM) in CT scans. Our innovative solution offers multiple benefits: 🩺 Lowers radiation exposure, thereby reducing associated patient risks. 🌿 Addresses shortages of RCM while promoting sustainable practices in medical imaging. ♻️ Minimises the environmental impact of CT scans, paving the way for greener healthcare solutions. Thank you to all partners for their contributions and to Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice (CHU de Nice), specifically to Juliette RAFFORT-LAREYRE and Fabien LAREYRE, for hosting the meeting. 🙌 We look forward to our next meeting in 2025 hosted by ZAS - Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom in Antwerp.
