Recap: Our First MTR Workshop AMA Session 🎉 RealtyX DAO is thrilled to kick off the MTR Workshop AMA Series, a comprehensive journey into Real-World Asset Finance (RWAfi). This series is designed to explore the opportunities, challenges, and innovations shaping the RWAfi ecosystem. Each session builds upon the last, offering fresh insights into how RWAs are transforming the DeFi landscape. In our first session, Mapping the RWAfi Ecosystem, we set the stage by discussing the foundational elements of this emerging space. Our expert panel explored how collaboration, infrastructure, and real-world use cases are paving the way for the adoption of RWAfi across Web3. 💬 Key Takeaways & Insights from Speakers : Teddy Pornprinya Co-founder of Plume Network, Shared his journey in RWA, from research at Coinbase to driving adoption at BNB Chain, tackling tooling gaps and asset distribution. He stressed designing RWA products for crypto-natives, enabling lending, trading, and liquidity. Plume Network supports tokenizing diverse assets, simplifying systems to make RWA opportunities accessible and rewarding for Web3. Claire, CEO of Silver Koi, highlighted challenges in accessing global markets, like the US stock market, where complex processes and high fees limit participation. Silver Koi’s mission is to democratize wealth-building by simplifying investments. With zero rollover fees, no management charges, and fast, easy transactions, they aim to make trading seamless. Piyush Gupta, Co-founder of Polytrade, Shared how Polytrade’s RWA journey began in 2021 when RWA was still emerging. With a trade finance background, PG aimed to bring valuable assets on-chain, providing DeFi liquidity for SMEs. Asset discovery was their biggest challenge, inspiring a platform to simplify finding, trading, and interacting with RWA protocols.
