  • Trust isn't outdated. Our way of building trust in the sales process ... well, that's definitely outdated. We recently had a great session with a client team, and we focused on three things: 1️⃣ Personal chemistry 2️⃣ Pattern interrupts 3️⃣ Personalized questions The beauty was that, well, we didn't just *talk* about each of these things. We explored each concept, tied it to the individual pieces of our sales process, and examined how we can hold ourselves accountable to achieving each piece throughout our sales cycle. And that's where we turn theory into practice, and practice into performance. Building trust is naturally easy for some people, and incredibly difficult to do for others. With so many nuances, personality styles, and communication preferences abounding in today's world, it's important to have a strategy that leverages your strengths and empowers you to meet your buyers where they are. Your strategy, and your ability to execute it, will make it much easier to establish and maintain trust with your buyers over time.   • Happy Monday! At Sandler, we're big advocates of behaving consistently and intentionally in order to drive more conversations, sales, and referrals. But ... that doesn't necessarily mean you should focus solely on increasing the volume of behaviors and activities that you engage on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Rather, we think it's important to focus on the right behaviors, at the right time, to optimize your sales performance. And, more often than not ... Less is more. The less conversations you have with unqualified buyers, the more conversations you can have with qualified buyers. The less you talk, and the more you listen, the easier it is to determine who's qualified. And, most importantly, the less "salesy" you are, the more genuine, approachable, and trustworthy you become to your buyer. So, before going guns blazing into your goals this week, just remember ...
