Tomorrow (December 4th, 2024 at 12:00 pm ET) marks the final installment of my Tidy Finance webinar series for the R Consortium. Building on the concepts introduced in previous sessions, I’ll be presenting an accessible introduction to company valuation using the popular Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method. This webinar will include a step-by-step guide, starting with downloading and preparing firm financial data and culminating in a sensitivity analysis of key DCF assumptions. While there are many approaches to valuing companies - and even the DCF can vary in complexity - this session aims to equip participants with a simple approach that can be easily expanded or customized.
