While not quite the smallest bearing you can buy, these little guys are pretty close at 4mm across. Quub has big plans for these little guys.

Better Data For A Better World
About us
Quub, Inc. is a small startup company located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We strive to build a better world using better data, to keep space science in classrooms, to challenge expectations surrounding satellite building and operation, and to have a little fun with it. While we take our work seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Our team is made up of dreamers, makers, and doers who aren’t afraid to ask why. We use and contribute to open source projects whenever possible and emphasize creative hands-on methods for research and development. This approach allows us to remain nimble and progressive in our field.

We are building a constellation of microsatellites to monitor our natural resources like water, coastlines, and forests. Just like your smartwatch tracks your health and notifies you when something is wrong, our satellites monitor our natural resources and alert us about threats to our planet’s health! Unlike the large and ultra-expensive satellites of the past, quub’s satellites are small, lightweight, and built using mostly off-the-shelf components. This allows us to quickly construct a network that updates every 15 minutes, providing a “motion-picture” view of what’s happening on the ground. #SpaceScience #Space #SpaceIndustry #quubspace #quubtech

Here are some key things to keep in mind when launching a rocket: 1. Engineering: Make sure your rocket design is solid and materials can handle space conditions. 2. Mission Planning: Know your goals, plan the best route, and secure your payload. 3. Safety: Follow all regulations, have safety measures in place, and assess any risks. 4. Weather: Keep an eye on the weather and consider the environmental impact. 5. Logistics: Pick the right launch site, coordinate with necessary authorities, and prep all support systems. 6. Testing: Do thorough testing and simulations before launch. 7. Resources: Manage your budget and resources wisely. 8. Post-launch: Track the rocket, analyze the data, and plan for recovery. Being prepared in these areas is key to a successful and safe rocket launch! 🚀 #RocketScience #SpaceExploration #Space #SpaceTech #SpaceEngineering #quubdata #quub

There are over 3,300 active satellites orbiting Earth, playing crucial roles in our daily lives! Weather satellites help predict weather patterns, track storms, and study climate change. GPS satellites enable accurate positioning and navigation for smartphones, vehicles, and ships. Communication satellites relay TV, radio, and internet signals globally, ensuring connectivity even in remote areas. Research satellites gather data on natural phenomena like solar radiation and cosmic events, advancing our understanding of the universe! Operating in various orbits, from low Earth orbit (LEO) to geostationary orbit (GEO), these satellites are essential for global systems and technological advancement, which is why what QUUB does it super important! #SatelliteTechnology #SpaceStartups #RocketScience #quubsolutions #quubtech
