  • This might look like a high-tech game of Twister, but it’s actually a masterpiece of renewable energy engineering. These cables are the lifelines of clean energy, ⚡carrying direct current (DC) from solar panels to inverters, where they transform it into the alternating current (AC)⚡ that powers homes, businesses, and entire communities. What do you think these wires are for? ☀️ Drop your ideas ⬇️—we’re all ears (and wires)!

Meet Madonna Gwin, our Equipment Coordinator at the Orange Grove Project in Orange Grove, TX. Born and raised in Arkansas, she is a proud graduate of the Arkansas State University. With 11 years of experience in equipment, Madonna moved to Texas to work in the oil field. When that industry began to decline, she transitioned into construction. Madonna is a devoted mother of two children. She also shares her home with two beloved cats, whom she affectionately calls her "babies." In her spare time, Madonna is passionate about fundraising for #Parkinson’s research, a cause close to her heart. Her mother recently lost her battle with this devastating disease, an experience that deeply impacted Madonna. Despite her struggle, her mother remained a source of inspiration, facing the illness with unwavering grace and never uttering a complaint. Madonna carries her mother’s resilience and spirit forward in her advocacy work. We're pleased to have her as a member of our team! ..... #Question: What strategies do you use to minimize downtime caused by equipment maintenance or breakdowns? To minimize downtime caused by equipment maintenance or breakdowns, I ensure that operators perform thorough daily checks on all equipment and trucks to identify potential issues early. If any problems are detected, they are reported to supervisors immediately for prompt resolution, helping to prevent minor issues from escalating into major disruptions.
